I've always had uneven facial hair on each side of my face. On the left side it grows quite a bit, and the right side it's much much less. I wanna grow my facial hair a bit but it looks weird!

If you have 40$ to waste, go only once a year to an esthetician and get a facial, its like a deep cleaning, makes you feel good, but doesnt make a single difference in the way your skin looks.

I have been told by my friends, that i look best when my beard has just barely come in (The somewhat scruffy look), but the problem is keeping it that way. It is too short for the electric razor, which only will catch hair at a certain length. Go to the organic store in town adn look around. Although I prefer organic products, I could not find any for cleansing the face and keeping zits away, so I tried cetaphil after seeing a friend use it for a long time and he has the best skin I've ever seen. So, had to negotiate w/ that.

but i would recommend tweezing the unwanted hairs separately.
it sounds painful but it wont be, plus it pulls the hair out from the root, making the hairs grow back finer, and sometimes the hairs never grow back. ( but that usually after a long time of removing them)
anyway before plucking, take an advil or a tylenol.
wait for about 20 min, then get a wash cloth and wet it with hot water, let it cool for abit so its not too hot to touch wring it out and place it over the area where the hairs are.
(this opens the pores so the hair is more easily pulled out)
next pull out each hair at the root slowly, make sure your not pulling out several at a time.
afterwards put some witch hazel (place in fridge before hand, that way it closes the pores and is soothing.) on a cotton ball and swipe over the areas you pulled the hairs from and your all done. =]
you could also get the areas waxed.
most salons do waxing. and they get every hair for you =]
and if your city has it try threading. its awesome, its like tweezing and waxing at the same time. except no wax no tweezers just thread its really neat!
one more thing- all of these treatments last up to 2 weeks! yay! lol.

For the last 2 days the muscles of my face, particularly my right eyebrow muscle, twitches involuntarily every minute or so. If I contract the muscles when this happens it causes all the muscles in my forehead to twitch up and down involuntarily. If you are normal skin to dry skin, I would recommend Lancome moisturizer with SPF 30+...It is a bit oily during summer hot days. So If you are oily skin type, forget about lancome and go for Sheseido sunscreen SPF 30 or 55. It is perfect for oily skin type.
Clinique has some nice moisturizer with SPF. But their moisturizers are a bit too think. Not as smooth as the ones from Lancome and Sheseido. The price is a little bit cheaper than Lancome and Sheseido.
What you could do is go to Sephora and try on some moisturizers or ask for the help from sale person. They can also help you to figure out what kind of skin type you have.

Im 16 and still dont have any facial hair. Every one of my peers have it. I want to grow a beard. I have no body hair but everything else in puberty came at normal. I am 5'11, my voice cracked at 13, my pubic hair came in at 12 1/2,, but i have no leg hair, no chest hair, no back hair, no arm hair, no neck hair, no shoulder hair, and no facial hair. I was wondering if I wil be able to get a decent amount of facial and body hair. When I was deployed to Iraq, that's how they did eyebrows in our 'beauty salons' on base. Also, it seems to be more of a Middle Eastern technique, as most of my friends that are of that decent- their mothers all know how to do it. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you the exact procedures, just my personal experience.

Try using Lifebouy ka Clearskin soap which has multani mati in it. Use it 3 times daily without fail. Your skin will be less oily and reduces the problems quite. It is not painful as well. Only remember 2 wash ur hands b4 applying on face and keep 4 10 to 15 seconds and wash with luke warm water.

i know you're thinking scrub because you want to get rid of the dry skin. however... scrubs aren't that good for you i gotta tell you. i had an acne problem with combination skin (sooooooooo super oily with dry peeling skin around my nose). i tried so many scrubs and some make you feel squeaky clean, but none worked. a pharmacist suggest i try it the gentle way. so i bought spectrojel. it has worked wonders for me! they have spectroderm which is moisterizing, and one for combination/problem skin. you dont want to exfoliate with a scrub, it's just going to rip the loose skin off and irritate it. also try using straight witch hazel as an astringent (it has antiseptic properties!) and get yourself a nice, expensive moisteriser from vichy or lachome or avene or some brand along those lines.
i havent really found one yet. but something that really helps me is putting on lotion right after the shower or after you wash your face. my mom works for mary kay and there is a face lotion in the velocity set that works amazing. its a lightweight moisterizer and it really works for me. the best part is, is that its not oily at all. it moisterizes well and it comes with the face wash and scrub in the same set.

I'm going to the dr. tomorrow for a possible sinus infection (or possibly a bad cold), but I'm having major facial/tooth-area pain right now. I've already taken cold medicine. I have facial acne for quite a long time and still having it. The most common acne I have is zit. I have at least 3 of them every morning. As I said, this is a prescription so you'll have to go to your family Physician for it. Good thing is, you don't HAVE to go to a dermatologist right away. I'm not sure if you have insurance or not and these things can cost quite a bit of money. I would have to say that the 'Retin A' is WELL WORTH IT'S COST! If you're unable to afford this I'm sure you know of over the counter products that may work for you, like proactive or the generic form of it. There are also lots of things you can do to treat your skin more gently, like NOT PICKING, not scrubbing too hard (DO ex foliate once or twice a week though) or over washing your face. No, it won't help. In fact it could make the situation worse. Facial masks are too strong and not meant for the very delicate skin under your eyes.
If you're looking for a good home remedy, put two spoons in the fridge (not the freezer or they'll stick to your skin) for a few hours and then lay back and put them over your eyes. As far as excessive dark circles, that means you're extremely dehydrated. Just because you don't feel thirsty doesn't mean your skin's quenched too. Drink a lot more water and get good sleep every night. I have to use an exfoliating sponge (like a Buf-Puf) every couple days, but in the summer they are prone to mildew. Bio Oil is a good choice, I've used it to fade a scar and it does work, but slowly. I checked my bottle and it says it's okay to use on faces. It's about 拢10 for a bottle, but you use the smallest amounts and I should imagine it would last a long long time if you are only applying it to your face.

There are a number of treatments to try. Have you tried using cocoa butter try palmers cocoa butter it works but you have to give it time. you could also try applying vitamin e capusles on your face it worked for me i hope it would work well for you too.
If you want to remove dead skin cells try glycolic acid cream they work.
I like Biore products for keeping the skin clean...but creams for stretch marks is good for scars even on the face...Coconut Butter creams are the best - and cheap too.
I did read in the news today that the latest fad is to use lubricant from condoms to treat acne and scars...google it and read the article. But was very interesting.

Bio Oil is a good choice, I've used it to fade a scar and it does work, but slowly. I checked my bottle and it says it's okay to use on faces. It's about 拢10 for a bottle, but you use the smallest amounts and I should imagine it would last a long long time if you are only applying it to your face.

Nooo, they are both exfoliating procedures and they may leave you with permanent scarring and uneven discoloration. Wait at least 7 days after the professional microderma before you have your waxing, this way you let your skin heal.

i would recommend you try just a light foundation or bronzer to give your skin tone a glow and then do a nude to subtle pink lip and a dark brown eyeliner ...this way you are keeping it natural yet playing your features

Leave on 15-20 minutes.
Rinse gently with warm water.
Garlic Mask
Peel and crush eight cloves of fresh garlic.
Apply to face, avoiding eye area.
Leave on 10-15 minutes.
Wash off with a warm cloth.
Tomato-Honey Mask
Mix 1/2 tsp camphor lotion, 1/2 tsp tomato juice, and 1/2 tsp honey.
Apply paste to face, avoiding eye area.
Leave on 15 minutes.
Wash with luke-warm water, then rinse with cold.
Milk-Lime Peel
Boil 1/4 cup whole milk.
Mix in juice of one fresh lime, and 1 tsp glycerin.

4 tablespoons French clay
5 dried bay leaves
1 cup distilled water

Apple Zinger Facial Mask
(oily skin that is acne prone)
1 medium size apple (grated)
5 tablespoons of honey
Mix the grated apple and mix with honey to make a mask. Smooth over skin then let sit for 10 minutes, rinse off with cool water.
Carrot Top Facial Mask
(normal - oily skin)
2-3 large carrots
4 1/2 tablespoons honey
Cook carrots, then mash. Mix with honey. Apply gently to the skin, wait 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
Sweet Strawberry Facial Mask
(oily skin)
8 - 9 whole strawberries
3 tablespoons honey
Using a fork mash strawberries into a pulp, add honey. Mix. Don't over blend or it will be runny. Apply directly to the skin, let sit for a few minutes then rinse off.
Blackhead Mask
1/2 cup of lemon juice
4 drops of lavendar oil
1 tsp.olive oil or coconut oil
1/2 cup of crushed oats
1 Tbsp.baking soda
4 Tbsp. of grated apple

BHA is known to help tremendously with cleaning pores from deep inside and therefore contribute to keeping our skin blemish-free. BHAs are efficient on existing blemishes as well, by helping them heal faster and keeping pores clean afterwards.';
This mask is good for all skin types, especially normal to oily and combination skin, acne-prone and clogged skin.
';Basic preparation: 1/4 tsp. salicylic acid (ask for it at pharmacy, if you cannot find it, then crush 3-5 tablets of plain aspirin instead), distilled water. Mix the powder with the water until it becomes of a creamy consistence, apply on clean dry skin (focus on T-zone and sides of the nose). Keep it on until completely dry. Take a small cotton pad, wet it lightly and begin scrubbing the areas covered with the mask, making small circles. Finally, rinse with plenty of water.
