How do I fix up uneven facial hair?

I've always had uneven facial hair on each side of my face. On the left side it grows quite a bit, and the right side it's much much less. I wanna grow my facial hair a bit but it looks weird!

I try and sometimes shave the right side double as much to see if it will start growing more but have had no luck. Any tips/suggestions? Thanks! How do I fix up uneven facial hair?

.How often should i use a facial mask and what homemade masks are good for achieving glowing skin?
Facial masks are just as useless as cucombers on your eyes.

The only way to nice skin is:

- Not use any foundation or cover up whatsoever

- Wash your face with a good cleanser morning and night

- Moisture your face right after cleansing it

- If you have black circles, use a cream with vitamin K (like all for eyes from clinique)

If you have 40$ to waste, go only once a year to an esthetician and get a facial, its like a deep cleaning, makes you feel good, but doesnt make a single difference in the way your skin looks.

Good Luck!
I have a dozen face masks

they are from the freeman/feeling beautiful [tm]

it has alot of different types of masks

and usually u use it for 10-20 mins

a day. I usually use the enzyme mask, the the peel off mask, then the clay mask because its whats most comfortable for my face

you can google the brand and see if you can get a sense of what the products are online ;)

How can I improve my facial hair growth?

I'm a 19 year old white male, slender build, and only seem to get facial hair in my mustache area, and I want to increase the amount of facial hair I grow. What methods are there that can help, besides just waiting? How can I improve my facial hair growth?
Make the most of not having to shave all the time. It will come.

I would suggest getting a razor and shaving the areas you want hair. do this daily for a few weeks. Then wait and you'll notice fine hairs getting longer in that area.

Repeat the process.

Another good thing to do is get laid. Whenever I had sex with a different woman I found my hair started to grow faster (maybe just a coincidence, but I thought I'd throw it in).How can I improve my facial hair growth?
Hair patterns are genetic. Most guys find a trim pattern that matches their natural growth pattern to make the most of what they have and de-emphasize what they don't have. If you're Asian or American Indian, for example, you're probably SOL.
Cut your hair follicles and pores open on your face with a small knife, and rub lemon juice all over. It's like the fertilizer for facial hair!
You cannot control this, it would take its own time. I myself though I've got a full moustache and chin hairs, they are rather sparse on both sides of my cheeks! Some guys are just smoother than others!

  • What can i mix up at home to create an effective exfoliating facial scrub?

This winter has taken a toll on my skin and it is very dry right now and practically flaking off. What simple ingredients can i mix together to create a facial scrub that isn't to hash but will work? What can i mix up at home to create an effective exfoliating facial scrub?
You can make a simple scrub with sugar. I just keep a small tupperware container in my bath and massage it onto my face while I'm in the shower, then follow up with my cleanser. You can also mix it with honey, olive oil (if you have dry skin), or pretty much any other liquid or cream that you like for your skin type.

Just moisten your skin before applying and use a gentle touch! What can i mix up at home to create an effective exfoliating facial scrub?
Baking soda (NOT baking powder) with a little bit of water to make a paste - rub gently onto your face and then rinse away really well.

There are tons of other recipes on the internet, but that's the simplest one I know and it works really well for my skin.
if it's dry then DON'T use scrub, use moisturizer!

What are some easy homemade facial masks?

My skin is not that oily or anything but i just want a refreshing facial mask that can help with acne. It has to have basic homemade ingredients. Thanks in advanced! What are some easy homemade facial masks?
Something I recently tried and found pretty successful was a mixture i created using basic things I found around my house. I used Baking soda, water, honey, lemon juice and flour. At first the mixture was very thick but you can add a couple of tablespoons of water as you mix it to make it creamier and lighter. Hope this helps you! What are some easy homemade facial masks?
Mash a banana with a fork then mix in honey and natural yogurt. Apply to your face evenly. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.

    ~or~

Mash 1/3 a cup of oatmeal into a soft peeled banana a little at a time. Continue until all of the oatmeal is moistened. Apply to your face evenly, leaving it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water or soft wash cloth.

    ~or~

Puree half a cucumber and yogurt in a blender, apply to your face evenly. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.

    Enjoy!

i think its cute! but there is nothing more you can do as you don't want to risk harming your baby, this is very normal and will fade just wait a few more months.
not cool. let the baby be a baby. if she's like starting junior high and looks like borat, then do something. the hair will fall off!! consult with a physician or dermatologist before taking action!
You should ask her pediatrition about it and see about getting it waxed.
My daughter was born with fine hair on her shoulders and apparently its very normal.

Now she is 5 and has non at all - just leave nature to take its course and it'll work its self out.
It will go away. My son looked like a werewolf when he was born and then it all fell off.
Leave her alone! She's a baby, stop being so vain!
Why would you want to get rid of it in the first place?
It will vanish, many babies are born like that just give it time...she's only 3 months old why should it bother you ?
Im no Kate Gosselin but you could just shave it I guess...
    Use Mach 3
you cant just leave it shes a baby!!!

Is it possible to grow facial hair manually?

Sorry but there is no such thing as beard fertilizer! If you wait a couple more years or so, maybe more of those male hormones will kick in and you will start to get a beard. Is it possible to grow facial hair manually?
Try this. Shave. I started shaving when I was about your age and by the time I was 20, I HAD to shave every day. At seventeen, my father warned me about shaving at such a young age and that I would regret it. Today I have a full beard only because shaving everyday is expensive, dries the facial skin and really hurts.
Well, the only way to grow one IS manually. You either can, or can not. I've never known any other way.

How do I keep my facial hair extra short?

I have been told by my friends, that i look best when my beard has just barely come in (The somewhat scruffy look), but the problem is keeping it that way. It is too short for the electric razor, which only will catch hair at a certain length. But if i shave, then it doesn't really come back till the 3rd or 4th day (I'm blond so it doesn't become visible). So is there anyway to keep the scruffy, haven't-shaved-in-a-day look, without the hassle? Possibly a specific razor? How do I keep my facial hair extra short?

Does shaving frequently really cause facial hair to grow faster and thicker?

    I'm 17

My facial hair started growing a while ago but it does not grow thick and it grows in patches.

I want that stubble look but not in patches

Will shaving more help the hair grow thicker?Does shaving frequently really cause facial hair to grow faster and thicker?
Of course not. Shaving cuts off dead hair tissue, it grows from the bottom. Shaving doesn't do anything magical to your hair, any more than just rubbing or massaging your hand across the beard area. Many men have patchy beards, so they just can't have the ';stubble'; look. It may grow in eventually, but if you have to shave some whiskers daily and there are bare patches, most likely they will stay bare.Does shaving frequently really cause facial hair to grow faster and thicker?
no its a VERY common myth. its all on the genes. but go ahead and try it everyone is different.
    no. that is NOT true!
no it won't, just wait and keep your face clean shaven until you think you can get the look you want

A person's face definitely tells you something about them. Not so much with names though.Do you ever find that a strangers facial features sometimes tells you about their personality ?
I've noticed that people with unique or obscure names seem to be very popular and be in great shape and are typically very smart people.

Girls and guys with high cheeks bones tend to be able to hold a decent conversation.

The bigger a girls chest the worse they like to be treated. This I've tested and I've seriously noticed this a lot of the time. A girl with a small chest wants to be respected and be your equal, where a girl with say DD chest wants you to treat her like the inferior sex and walk on her. (please note this is a generalization and not targeted at any one person, not everyone falls into this categorey all I'm saying is that with my tests on this, this was the result more often then not).

what are the tips to have a better shape of boobs %26amp; butt? What are the tips to have beautiful facial skin and hair in a natural way?
Cleanse your skin once a day with soap, water, and a soft sponge.

Exfoliate once a week with a loofah, or with a cleanser that has a sandy, gritty texture.

Pat dry with a towel. Don't rub or scrub - this damages your skin.

Apply lotion or cream before you leave the steam-filled bathroom. This is the best time to moisturize your skin because your pores are still open and your skin is still moist.

Wear sunblock if you're going to step outside of your house (or even sit by a sunny window). One of the reasons babies have such soft skin is that they haven't been exposed to the harmful effects of UV rays!

Moisturize especially dry or tough areas, especially the feet, elbows, knees, and hands, right before going to sleep.

Drink half your weight in ounces of water every day. For example, if you weigh 140 lbs., you should drink 70 ounces of water every day. This will keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.

Take a daily multivitamin to help your skin fight off damage and wrinkles.

After your shower put baby oil on your skin.

If you take a bath put 5 capfuls of baby oil in the water

After bath or shower dry skin and put on lotion

Put on powder after bath or shower .

It may sound strange, but different herbs can really help your hair!

Here's a look at two friendly herbs for the hair:

    - sage: this is excellent for making slightly weak hair stronger

    - Rosemary: if you have dark hair, you'll find that this can really enhance your hairWhat are the tips to have beautiful facial skin and hair in a natural way?
Well by drinking lots of water you will improve your skin and your hair, and it will also help you lose a little weight which will help with the other two. Water helps deliver nutrients and it helps to carry away the impurities. Water is natures best beauty secret, after all look at how much of our bodies are made up of water... is it 70%. Salt will help to get rid of extra salt which makes us retain water and once you get into the habit of drinking water you won't be running to the bathroom as much.

Walking is a great exercise that will help to tone your body. You want to do some aerobic exercise (swimming would be great for this time of year) and then maybe some lunges and squats to help tighten and work your bum. You can do a breast exercise by laying down on the floor or your bed and straighten your arms out in front of you and cross them back and forth as fast as you can, this will help to strengthen the Peck(boobs) muscles, just burn that much more. You can also do a butt exercise anywhere anytime, while you are waiting at a traffic light or even sitting at your computer, tighten and release your butt muscles, see how long you can hold it and then release, over and over, maybe even try to hold for 20 seconds then release.
natural coco oil is gud for the hair
Eat healthy, balanced, drink only water for liquids, use Cetaphil to clean our face twice a day (I swear it works), and use natural/organic shampoo, conditioner and products. I have a leave in conditioner composed of only natural products, no chemicals n all that ****, and i don't even need a damn gel to calm the frizz anymore. Go to the organic store in town adn look around. Although I prefer organic products, I could not find any for cleansing the face and keeping zits away, so I tried cetaphil after seeing a friend use it for a long time and he has the best skin I've ever seen. So, had to negotiate w/ that.

For better butt/breast shape, it's called the gym.

  • What is the best way to remove facial hair?

Which product would you recommend for facial area. What is the best way to remove facial hair?
    eyebrow- wax, thread, or tweeze

    upperlip-thread

    chin-thread

entire face-bleach, wax, or thread. What is the best way to remove facial hair?
I actually recommend that you dont ';remove'; the hair, but instead, lighten the hair with a facial hair bleach. I did that and it worked and you can't even notice the hair, except for the side burn area on one side where i left it on too long and it's like orangey lol. But this is easier and less stressful because you won't have to do it over and over again, but with hair removal, the hair will keep coming back. hope I helped!
their are plenty of ways to remove facial hairs. you could get it waxed of you could even do it yourself.
    tweez your eye brows
I would recommend threading instead that way you don't have to put chemicals on your face.

Do facial exercises really work in losing cheek and chin fat?

According to my weight I'm a pretty skinny girl, but my face says otherwise. My cheeks are chubby, and I have a slight double chin. I looked online to see how I could get rid of them, and many of the websites suggested facial exercises. Do they really help?Do facial exercises really work in losing cheek and chin fat?
No, when exercising, your body uses energy from your bloodstream, and when your blood contains less sugar, your body releases some from the liver or draws from your fat reserves. That, obviously, won't happen specifically at the same site the effort is taking place!Do facial exercises really work in losing cheek and chin fat?
no not at all. Your body has fat cells all over. The shrink and expand equally all over your body.
    could do apparently

Is there any way of making my facial hair grow quicker and thicker?

I'm 17, male and have a bit of facial hair in certain places but would like a more even consistency of hair on my face. There really isn't anything you can do to get the results you want. You're just going to have to wait.Is there any way of making my facial hair grow quicker and thicker?
Don't know about facial hair but eat olive oil with your food when appropriate. Your fingernails will grow faster too.

This question has been asked a hundred times here. I hope if you have another question you'll look to see if someone else has already asked it and read the answers they got.
About shaving, it really doesn't help hair grow out faster or thicker, it just looks thicker because the end of the hair thinner than when you just cut it off! I try to explain this to everyone but noo none of my stupid friends ever believe me..

but anyway. i'm not a man.. but you could try hair loss stuff on your face?

Girls like a clean face. My advice...your ';beard'; will get thicker/consistent with time. But for now, leave it clean =) muchhhh better ;)
Shaving only makes it grow a TINY bit faster but not thicker. Why would you want 2 grow MORE hair any way? girls like kissing men with clean smooth faces!

Is it safe to get a microdermabrasion facial and hair relaxing on the same day?

i would talk to a professional about that.doesn't hair relaxing involve all kinds of chemicals which can be toxic?i wouldn't think it'd be safe to get any day.well it's your choice and like i said, ask a professional about it or look online to see if it's safe or not.i know this probably isn't very helpful but i had to put in my two cents.later and good luck.Is it safe to get a microdermabrasion facial and hair relaxing on the same day?
If anyone of the relaxer gets on your skin it could be painful, considering your removing a layer of skin. I would pick one and then wait a day or so todo the other.

there is no reason that it would hurt the cream by storing it in the fridge. before you do though, make sure to mix it with your finger. and for future purchases it is best to buy oil free moisturizers.Does anyone know if you can store facial cold cream in the refrigerator?
there should be a number on the container to the company or a website check it on there. otherwise just stick it in a cool place like a closet.
Don't put it in the refrigerator unless they say to do that on the package--it may gel up and go bad.

Try putting it in a dark closet or put it in a bag and put it in the back of the toilet (this will keep it cool but not cold).

How do you shave your facial area?

I'm 13 and hair is now growing rapidly on my chin and above my lip. I got bought an electric razor for Christmas but wondered if anyone had some tips. How do you shave your facial area?
Make sure your face is clean and dry before you shave. If it's dirty, you'll get acne, and maybe even some kind of infection- wash it first. If your face is still wet when you shave, the shaving won't work as well and it will also irritate your skin.

I wash my face, dry it, and then wait 5 or 10 minutes before shaving.

I don't use Pre-Electric or anything because it feels like fire on my face- but that's just me. I think I have sensitive skin.

Oh yeah, and clean your razor out occasionally- if there's a bunch of hair in there it won't work as well and I think it also helps to spread acne.

Have fun! You'll be doing it the rest of your life... :-PHow do you shave your facial area?

    lets see.

nair for the face works wonderfully. especially on the upper lip.

but i would recommend tweezing the unwanted hairs separately.

it sounds painful but it wont be, plus it pulls the hair out from the root, making the hairs grow back finer, and sometimes the hairs never grow back. ( but that usually after a long time of removing them)

anyway before plucking, take an advil or a tylenol.

wait for about 20 min, then get a wash cloth and wet it with hot water, let it cool for abit so its not too hot to touch wring it out and place it over the area where the hairs are.

(this opens the pores so the hair is more easily pulled out)

next pull out each hair at the root slowly, make sure your not pulling out several at a time.

afterwards put some witch hazel (place in fridge before hand, that way it closes the pores and is soothing.) on a cotton ball and swipe over the areas you pulled the hairs from and your all done. =]

you could also get the areas waxed.

most salons do waxing. and they get every hair for you =]

and if your city has it try threading. its awesome, its like tweezing and waxing at the same time. except no wax no tweezers just thread its really neat!

one more thing- all of these treatments last up to 2 weeks! yay! lol.

good luck! =]What are some good products that help to get rid of unwanted facial hair?
Your hair removal options are given at the source below.
No-strip wax works well because you can spread it on however large or small of an area you need, and just pull it off.

I might hurt a bit, but you'll get used to it.

    I like Nair Cire Divine.

i guess that would depend on the skin type. my skin is pretty clear except for whiteheads around my nose. i rarely get pimples. the whiteheads aren't extremely visible or anything but i can see them and i know they're there so i want to get a facial and get all the dirty crap out of my skin. i was wondering how long it would take my skin to recooperate and look clear. cus i made an appointment for a facial on friday and school starts on monday and i want to look clear and healed by that time. thanks! How long does it usually take for skin to heal after a facial?
It usually takes 2-3 days to look its best after a facial, so I would say Friday would be perfect. Good luck with the school year! :]How long does it usually take for skin to heal after a facial?
it should only take from at least 30mins to 2hours

How can I make a facial with wheatgrass powder?

Hi, I just got some wheatgrass powder to drink on a daily basis. Since it's super loaded with vitamins and minerals I'd like to use it on my skin. I tried making a paste with water but it was very clumpy and didn't stay on well. What can I mix with the powder so that it stays on and the wheatgrass is absorbed into my skin? Would using an oil block the absorption? How can I make a facial with wheatgrass powder?
yes it would...try mixing with milk

How can I remove the facial marks left from eyeglasses?

After years of wearing eyeglasses, the nose protectors have left black marks on my upper nose. Now that I'm getting contacts I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove these marks? Thanks. How can I remove the facial marks left from eyeglasses?
Maybe rubbing alcohol will work. Have you tried to remove the black before? Maybe face wash with those little micro-scrubbers would work, or those little face-scrubbers. The black might be in the top layer of skin, so you could try using something that would scrub it off/out.How can I remove the facial marks left from eyeglasses?
Try using a collegen filler, found a drugstores. (Like the stuff women use to get rid of wrinkles.) Dab it on the spots, following the directions.
I've never heard of nosepads causing permanent discoloraton on eyeglass wearers' noses.

Go see a dermatologist to find out what options you may have.

What can cause twitching of facial muscles?

For the last 2 days the muscles of my face, particularly my right eyebrow muscle, twitches involuntarily every minute or so. If I contract the muscles when this happens it causes all the muscles in my forehead to twitch up and down involuntarily. The only thing that I can think of is that I've taken some Soma (muscle relaxers) within the last few days. Can that have anything to do with it?What can cause twitching of facial muscles?
First I would check on side affects on Soma.

Second I would call you doctor.

There are many things that can be associated with this.

I have a link below to help you.

What can cause twitching of facial muscles?
It sounds like hemifacial spasm. Try to consult a neurologist. Maybe, you need a MRI if you have frequent symptoms, but if it was once or twice maybe it was just a motor tic.

What is the best facial moisturizer that includes sunscreen?

I need a moisturizer that has an spf of at least 30? Anyone have any recommendations? What is the best facial moisturizer that includes sunscreen?
There is this sunscreen by Neutrogena that is non greasy, light, and has a high SPF, mine is 70, I have the link, it has so many great features, it feels like it's not even there. Really, you should try it.What is the best facial moisturizer that includes sunscreen?
Beauticontrol.... it really works I use all of their anti acne products and I haven't had a zit in a YEAR!
I love Olay Coplete SPF 30+ moisteriser. It is not expensive (can buy in the supermarket) is light and non-oily (perfect for oily or combination skin) and feels lovely on.

    I highly recomend it.
    1.) VMV Hypoallergenics SPF 60. See www.vmvhypoallergenics.com

    and

    2.) Nu Skin Moisturizer. : http://www.nuskin.com/corp/product/compl鈥?/a>

both are excellent, let me know if you need more help =)
stila has nice ones. expensive. but love it.

u shoudl try clean and clear moisterize, i have it and it has sunscreen. smells refreshing and leave the skin feeling tingly. i love it.
It would depend on what kind of skin type you have.

If you are normal skin to dry skin, I would recommend Lancome moisturizer with SPF 30+...It is a bit oily during summer hot days. So If you are oily skin type, forget about lancome and go for Sheseido sunscreen SPF 30 or 55. It is perfect for oily skin type.

Clinique has some nice moisturizer with SPF. But their moisturizers are a bit too think. Not as smooth as the ones from Lancome and Sheseido. The price is a little bit cheaper than Lancome and Sheseido.

What you could do is go to Sephora and try on some moisturizers or ask for the help from sale person. They can also help you to figure out what kind of skin type you have.

    Good luck!

you should see if you have a store near you, and stop in! the girls are SO friendly and will let you try out anything in the store.

i have combo skin that can be oily one day, and dry the next. this has made my skin so soft and i have no problems with oil anymore either. i have uneven skin tone, and this has brightened me right up. the only thing is i have small pores and do not really break out, never really have. but when i do get the occasional break out they are so tiny, and this clears em right up within a few days!

that is why you should go in the store and see which one they recommend for you :) or if you can not go to a store read online at all the reviews and see which one you think would be best for you

What is the average age for a person to grow noticable facial hair?

Im 16 and still dont have any facial hair. Every one of my peers have it. I want to grow a beard. I have no body hair but everything else in puberty came at normal. I am 5'11, my voice cracked at 13, my pubic hair came in at 12 1/2,, but i have no leg hair, no chest hair, no back hair, no arm hair, no neck hair, no shoulder hair, and no facial hair. I was wondering if I wil be able to get a decent amount of facial and body hair. Dont try to convince me about not having it because no matter what you say I will still perfer the same thing. What is the average age for a person to grow noticable facial hair?
I believe facial hair tends to grow faster and get thicker once a guy starts to shave. You migh want to start shaving your face as if you had a beard and see if it comes in faster. What is the average age for a person to grow noticable facial hair?
that answer is a myth. some people just aren't gifted with good facial hair. Although when I was 16 I didn't have much either, I didn't start to shave until I was 18 and didn't manage to have any decent facial hair until I was 20. But I still can't grow a beard, just a moustache and goatee. Report Abuse

A lot of the guys at my high school haven't grown facial hair yet, and some have very little leg hair, so I wouldn't worry for two or three years.

The amount of facial hair on a man's face varies from individual to individual, and also between ethnic groups. For example, men from many East Asian, West African or Native American backgrounds typically have much less facial hair than those of European, Middle Eastern or South Asian descent, with Native Americans typically having little to none at all.
i dunno my mustache and sideburns came in when i was 12-13
I knew a guy in school who could have grown a beard who was 11 or 12. I know a man who can grow no sideburns or chin hair, lucky him, he doesn't need to shave much! Relax. Everybody's different and you'll get what you'll get when you get it! 'You can't push the river!'
Well guy, I have good news and bad news.

the good, one of my friends didn't grow a stache until he was 17 and then it was thin fr a while, now at 25 he has a pretty cool beard.

The bad, My other friend never could grow hair, he's 31 now and still can't grow facial hair. his legs look like he shaves, and no matter what he's tried, nothing helps.

Me on the other hand, I'm a big hairy ape. I have hair every wher i should and a lot of places I shouldn't. try this, get a razor and start shaving every day. i grew up in a house full of women and my mother always told the girls ';don't shave where you don't want black hair to grow, pluck it.'; so to me, a good solution is to start shaving every day to get the hair to start growing. just shave your face, if you shave your legs, at 16, someone will notice and you will get beat up.

the last thing to keep in mind is we as men all mature differently, I had a full moustashe at 12 and a beard by 14. it was thick like a man beard by 15. my friend who can't grow hair feels like less of a man when the whole face hair thing comes up, don't fall into that trap. being a man has nothing to do with face hair. being a man has everything to do with taking care of responsibility. take car man, and good luck.
oookkk you didn't really specify if your a girl of a guy but think your a guy my advice to you is glue and ur gf's hair

When speaking of removing facial hair like eye brows. What does the threading technique mean?

I'm asking because I hear people say they use the threading technique. I would like to know how it is done. And what is needed to do it.When speaking of removing facial hair like eye brows. What does the threading technique mean?
okay well i've seen my cousins do it before.. its basically like a piece of string tied into a circle, with a loop in it. kinda like this: http://www.lucidbeauty.com/lucid_threadi鈥?/a>

and you basically use the thread like 'scissors to get the hair off.. sorry i don't know a lot but you could google it, youtube it, or just go to a threading place and see how it's done =]When speaking of removing facial hair like eye brows. What does the threading technique mean?
I have had it done on my eyebrows before. Somehow the technician wraps the thread around her fingers so that she has two strands. It was like a thicker sewing thread. Then she rolls the thread against your skin/hair to remove the hair. It stung a little bit, but I didn't have the infamous red line afterwards that you get from waxing. I prefer it to waxing and tweezing...trouble is finding someone that knows how to do it. When I was deployed to Iraq, that's how they did eyebrows in our 'beauty salons' on base. Also, it seems to be more of a Middle Eastern technique, as most of my friends that are of that decent- their mothers all know how to do it. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you the exact procedures, just my personal experience.
Hey there! From my education training I have been taught that the threading technique is a way to remove eyebrow hair by using a thread/string usually cotton to grab the individual hair and with a twist maneuver pluck the hair out similar in ways to tweezing. This technique is good for those who are on Acne products that make them sensitive to waxing. I believe this technique originated from Asian Cultures. I have not seen many places that offer it or even seen it done so I wish you good luck and hope this answer helps!
for threading, the beautician will use a sewing thread.

then she might use scissors to level the top part of the eyebrows.

it's hard to describe, but she will twist the thread, press it onto your skin and remove the hair in a sweeping motion.

it will require you to pull on your skin while she does it.

for some people it is painful, for others it's only a minor tingling.

threading should be quite fast. and it the beautician has a lot of experience, it will be satisfying. just be sure to tell her exactly what you want before she starts.

What is the best facial expression for an evil, murdering robot supervillain?

But in my opinion, i'll prefer it to be a BLANK FACE. Cause he assumes himself totally as a robot, he will be disgusted whenever he shows an expression. I use pro active solution, its fabulous! But I used to use Johnsons Ph5.5. It is a realy good product.
Try using Lifebouy ka Clearskin soap which has multani mati in it. Use it 3 times daily without fail. Your skin will be less oily and reduces the problems quite. It is not painful as well. Only remember 2 wash ur hands b4 applying on face and keep 4 10 to 15 seconds and wash with luke warm water.
    olay
oatmeal powder...(real oatmeal flakes curshed into powder)

i use it jut like scrub..n it does wonders...
try making it yourself using natural honey and sea salt.
If you have enough money for it Dermologica, i swear by it all of their products are so great and your skin feels perfect after you use it i'd recommend anything from them their tinted moisturiser is great too (:

    Look them up on google!

    Good luck..(:!..
i use johnsons clean %26amp; clear. i find it works for me but everyone has different skin
I am a teenage girl with used-to-be oily skin. The best cleanser I've found is Origins Checks and Balances. You have to go to the Origins store to get it but it's completely worth it. It makes your skin feel really smooth and not oily but it doesn't dry it out.

Also, try using an astringent like witch hazel after you wash your face if that doesn't clear up the oil.
I use zenmed's renewing microdermabrasion complex whose primary ingredients are all-natural extracts of comfrey and green tea. Apart from its primary function this product helps minimize scars, uneven skin tone, fine lines and oily skin conditions. After using this product I consider it to be the best exfoliator and I haven't ever encountered any skin reaction till now. So for me zenmed's renewing microdermabrasion complex is the best.
Papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are

    available online. These work wonders.

Maybe it will work on you too.

What is a good facial scrub that won't over dry your skin?

try olay, they usually have great productsWhat is a good facial scrub that won't over dry your skin?
i know you're thinking scrub because you want to get rid of the dry skin. however... scrubs aren't that good for you i gotta tell you. i had an acne problem with combination skin (sooooooooo super oily with dry peeling skin around my nose). i tried so many scrubs and some make you feel squeaky clean, but none worked. a pharmacist suggest i try it the gentle way. so i bought spectrojel. it has worked wonders for me! they have spectroderm which is moisterizing, and one for combination/problem skin. you dont want to exfoliate with a scrub, it's just going to rip the loose skin off and irritate it. also try using straight witch hazel as an astringent (it has antiseptic properties!) and get yourself a nice, expensive moisteriser from vichy or lachome or avene or some brand along those lines.
i havent really found one yet. but something that really helps me is putting on lotion right after the shower or after you wash your face. my mom works for mary kay and there is a face lotion in the velocity set that works amazing. its a lightweight moisterizer and it really works for me. the best part is, is that its not oily at all. it moisterizes well and it comes with the face wash and scrub in the same set.

if that doesnt work try dove body bars. i know its not real face wash but its 1/4 moisterizer(you can look on the box). i hope this helps!
Get a bath sponge. Get one of your fav facial cleansers, keep a dish of sugar close by. When you get ready to wash, apply the cleanser then the sugar in your hand, rub together, and that is one of the best scrubs. My mom does it and her skin is beautiful.

How do I relieve facial pain from a possible sinus infection and/or cold?

I'm going to the dr. tomorrow for a possible sinus infection (or possibly a bad cold), but I'm having major facial/tooth-area pain right now. I've already taken cold medicine. What can do to relieve this throbbing pain until tomorrow? It hurts so much! How do I relieve facial pain from a possible sinus infection and/or cold?
A warm pack over the maxillary sinus area. This is the area under your eyes and cheek bones. How do I relieve facial pain from a possible sinus infection and/or cold?
Use warm moist compresses over your forehead and area under your eyes. Or, take a warm, steamy shower and inhale as much steam as possible. Repeat either or both activities as needed to relieve sinus pressure.

If you have or can get a humidifier, let it run in your room while you sleep. It should give you some relief.
What we call sinus pains may be totally irrelevant to sinus conditions but it may be migraine. This is a new discovery so you may not hear it from your doctors. I suggest you read 'What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Sinusitis' by Dr. Alan Hirsch to learn about it. This book may be purchased in e-book format from the web-site of E-reader.

But, if you still think that your problems are due to sinus conditions, I recommend reading another e-book Natural Cures for Sinusitis available at www.howtogetridofsinusitis.com

    Hope this helps you!
Arbonne International has two choices for you. First, if you are not concerned with aging, I would recommend the Intelligence Skin Care line (the person who suggested this prior did not inform you it does not have SPF in it). However, you could resolve this with a tinted moisturizer with SPF - also offered in the UK.

Second choice would be the anti-aging line. The daytime moisturizer does have an SPF of 15 in it.

You can order these products online through a website, and Arbonne offers a 45 day money back guarantee. If you prefer to try a sample, these are also available to you at no cost.

Arbonne is formulated in Switzerland and recently became available in the UK - botanically based, pH correct, no animal testing or by-products, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, formulated without mineral oil, chemical dyes or fragrances. Our motto is pure, safe, and beneficial. You really can't go wrong!

I used to have really bad acne and the little red spots gave me scars and everything.

But after I went to the doctor, he gave me tablets and now I might get like one spot a month. It is seriously improved. There is no foolproof way to stop spots - they're your hormones, but they can be dramatically reduced. Also, to get rid of the scars you can try facial peels which is putting acid on your face which peels off the scars basically. It's what I do.

So go to the doctor and take the tablets, theyll reduce your chances of getting spots
Neck acne is hard to deal with, and that鈥檚 putting it mildly. I had a case of neck acne on the back of my neck in high school that still pains me to think about. I would make sure to wear collared shirts every day and would try to sit in the back of the class so no one could see the back of my neck. There is a regimen that can take care of this issue however, so do not fear.

Neck acne is caused by the same mechanisms that cause facial and body acne. Pores become clogged due to a build-up of cells inside pores which stick together and cause a plug. Then bacteria and skin oil, which would normally drain to the surface get caught inside and grows. These pores can burst, causing redness and pus to develop.

Irritation can also aggravate neck acne. Collared shirts that rub on the skin of the neck can often make acne worse in the area. This often creates a vicious circle. Acne develops, so people will wear collared shirts to cover it. The collared shirts then cause irritation and aggravate acne, and so on. Anything else that irritates the skin on the back of the neck can also lead to more acne. Try some of the following ways of avoiding irritation.
hmm 16 year old.. perfect age to get acne. At this age your body undergo lot of hormonal changes. DO not try to peal it off. It will leave a scar forever. Do you masturbate? Daily? if you do STOP NOW. Why? Because when you release sperm from your penis, you are also releasing some zinc from your body. What is zinc? Zinc is a nutrition that keeps your skin smooth, clear, and healthy. I started getting multiple pimples when I turned only 11. Why? Because I masturbated EVERYDAY! Believe it or not. You'll see your face getting way better in just a month. So stop masturbating now. Hope this helps. And drink plenty of water and exercise. Cardio would help too.
Its based on diet and genetics. Also some basic hygine helps as well.

How to treat pitted facial skin and avoid further damage?

I have facial acne for quite a long time and still having it. The most common acne I have is zit. I have at least 3 of them every morning. Because it is really uncomfortable going out with those on my face so I pop them every morning. Problem is after years of doing it, my facial skin is full of pits and scars. So if you know anyway to treat/avoid further pitted facial skin then please help me out. Thanks in advance! How to treat pitted facial skin and avoid further damage?
Don't pick them anymore. At this point you should see a dermatologist for advice and treatment. How to treat pitted facial skin and avoid further damage?
As far as preventing further damage, you need to go to a dermatologist to treat your active acne and you have to stop picking at it. To treat the current acne there are prescription medicines such as Retin-A that have proven to be extremely effective.

If prescription medicine is not the answer you are looking for there are also some alternatives which will help with the acne and some of the superficial scarring. Chemical peels such as alpha hydroxy acid or citric acid peels can be used to treat acne as well as help rejuvenate the skin. Chemical peels take off the surface layer of the skin and help cleanse the pores.

Concerning treatment of the pits and scars on your face there are a number of treatments available once the active acne is brought under control. Chemical peels and microdermabrasion can be used for superficial scarring but will not be as effective against deeper pits and scars. For these there are surgical procedures and dermal fillers that will help but the gold standard of the industry these days is laser treatment. More specifically fractional laser resurfacing such as the Fraxel laser from Reliant Technologies has been shon to be highly effective for treatment of acne scars. This route is not going to be cheap but it is the price of beauty I'm afraid.
First and most importantly, DON'T PICK ANYMORE! I know you've probably heard it a million times and...it's easier said than done. It IS important though, cuz you'll just continue to scar, it breaks the pimples underneath your skin spreads the bacteria and...causes more pimples. The VERY BEST treatment for the the acne, (in my opinion) is an Rx. cream or jel called ' RETIN A.' Retin A will not only clear up your face now but you can put it on the worse ones at night to dry them up, so you can avoid 'picking' the next day. This cream/jel will also help with healing previous scarring. If it's pretty severe, you'll probably have to look into lazier surgery, or professional dermabrasion procedures. As I said, this is a prescription so you'll have to go to your family Physician for it. Good thing is, you don't HAVE to go to a dermatologist right away. I'm not sure if you have insurance or not and these things can cost quite a bit of money. I would have to say that the 'Retin A' is WELL WORTH IT'S COST! If you're unable to afford this I'm sure you know of over the counter products that may work for you, like proactive or the generic form of it. There are also lots of things you can do to treat your skin more gently, like NOT PICKING, not scrubbing too hard (DO ex foliate once or twice a week though) or over washing your face. Just be more gentle, don't take your stress out on your face! Try not to focus a lot of time an energy worrying. Like I said before, use something to dry up the worse existing one's at night. Whatever you decide on, try to get the best product you can afford and BE PATIENT! Sometimes, good treatments seem to make the acne worse, before it gets better and people give up too early. RETIN A., is, in my opinion your BEST choice though, if you can get a Rx. for it. Don't forget... NO PICKING!

I believe that Eucerin offers the best cream or lotion for very dry skin and excema. The winter air makes my face very dry in some areas. Eucerin is free of fragrances and does not irritate my skin. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it since it will last a good while and it feels great on dry skin.

If a woman has facial hair and unwanted hair, is she likely to be more feminine?

I am a heterosexual woman, and I have facial hair that I wax, etc. I heard that women with hair can be masculine. I know it can look masculine, etc. Is that true?If a woman has facial hair and unwanted hair, is she likely to be more feminine?
all women have unwanted hair in places we don't want it to be, that's why we shave our legs, wax ur upper lips, pluck our eyebrows, etc....all that is normal...I don't think a woman with hair can be more masculine than a woman without it, to me there's no explanation how, other than looking more masculine..hair doesn't give you anymore strength...you know, back in the day in Europe men used to think that the more hair a woman had on her legs and her upper lip, the more ';fiesty'; she was in bed...hehe, I guess times have changed a lot since...If a woman has facial hair and unwanted hair, is she likely to be more feminine?
most women have facial hair and stuff, only that the hair isn't very dark, thus its quite invisible.

yes, a woman with facial hair does look masculine.

i don't know about whether she's likely to be more feminine, but generally, for a woman to be hairy and have darker facial hair, it shows that she has a higher level of testosterone in her body, which actually makes her more masculine, as high levels of testosterone are usually found in males.

    hope this helps (:

What is your best facial feature and why?

Just wondering what most people like best about their faces and if it corresponds with what their significant others think. What do you think is you best facial feature? What do you think is your spouse's best facial feature? What is your best facial feature and why?
I like my cheekbones, it may sound strange! My spouse likes my blue-green eyes. I love his brown eyes (I get lost in them!) and his chiseled bone structure. Don't care if that sounds cheesy :-) Fun question! What is your best facial feature and why?

How long should my facial hair be before I should start shaving?

I already have a fairly visible ';teen-stache'; with dark hair but that's itHow long should my facial hair be before I should start shaving?
Well its all about what you personaly like.,. If you dont want to have very visible facial hair or dont think it lookds good on you, then shave it off, you can shave whenever you want, as often as you would like. Some people decide to grow out their facial hair so they dont shave.., When you start shaving, your facial hair will begin to grow back even quicker each time, so you will get to a point in your teen years, maybe even soon that you will shave once a week,,,there is nothing wrong with it...good luk..enjoyHow long should my facial hair be before I should start shaving?
If you are showing facial hair you can start shaving. I've seen some kids who haven't shaved because they just have a few strands but those strands are a few inches long. With you just having a little is a good time to get introduced to a razor.

There is no natural or artifical way to speed up facial hair growth only with age will it grow faster and fuller, personally I wish i never grew facial hair, I hate shaving, the burn, the bumps on my neck and the stubble that makes me look like a bum if i miss shaving for one day!

The race usually refers to the categorisation of humans into populations or groups on the basis of various sets of heritable characteristics. The most widely used human racial categories are based on visible traits (especially skin color, cranial or facial features and hair texture), and self-identification. There are six different races: Asian, White, African, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and Indian

Scarlett, wut a pretty name! Anywho natives often look like mexicans but their cheek bones/apples are wider and much higher as well as have larger lung capacity's implying migration from a much colder region. (ppl from cold places are taller then ppl from humid ones)

PPL from Africa/Asia have thicker skin/more collagen then those from other continents which makes them wrinkle less into their 30's-40's compared to white women.

This thicker skin also acts to block more UV rays from mutating DNA causing skin cancer, yet also causes more scarring or hyper pigmentation (think acne spots)

Indian, African, and Arab women average longer leg ratios indicating better heart health/circulatory system. (less colored women with kankles, swollen legs, or varicose veins in later life )

If I put a facial mask over my lower eye lids will that do anything abt under eye circles?

just wondering. and do u have a great treatment (home remedies, products etc) for dark eye circles that works for u?If I put a facial mask over my lower eye lids will that do anything abt under eye circles?
No, it won't help. In fact it could make the situation worse. Facial masks are too strong and not meant for the very delicate skin under your eyes.

If you're looking for a good home remedy, put two spoons in the fridge (not the freezer or they'll stick to your skin) for a few hours and then lay back and put them over your eyes. As far as excessive dark circles, that means you're extremely dehydrated. Just because you don't feel thirsty doesn't mean your skin's quenched too. Drink a lot more water and get good sleep every night. I can guarantee that it'll make those dark circles disappear. :)If I put a facial mask over my lower eye lids will that do anything abt under eye circles?
Probably not, so if you want to get rid of under eye circles, you need to find a products that helps that.
Ooh, I wouldn't try that. If the facial mask dehydrates your under eye circles then it would make them worse.

There are products that specifically does that job.

    Maybe get cucumbers.

If you get refrigerated spoons and put them over you eye.. it's supposed to help. Like put the spoons in the refrigerator to make them cold. and then do it.
No!!!!! Never put anything as harsh as a facial mask under your lower eyelids. If you irritate that area, you may even darken the area due to the irritation to that very sensitive part of your face!

I have dark circles under my eyes too. And in my case, it is hereditary. My Mom and my Grandfather had them. If yours aren't hereditary, then you can try using a gentle fade cream.

If they are hereditary, concealer is the way to go. I highly recommend all of MAC's concealers.

    Good luck!
I actually read on the internet and saw on TV that if you put tea bags in warm water for a couple of minutes then lay down, and put them under your eyes for about 10-15 minutes, it should help bags/lines under your eyes.
I have a really great home remedy that works for me in gettting rid of the circles under my eyes. put two spoons in the refridgerator overnight and when you wake up put them over your eyes until they aren't cold anymore. That should take care of it

what you suggested is ideal, but every now and then soak in a diluted bleach and water , then rinse well

Bio Oil is a good choice, I've used it to fade a scar and it does work, but slowly. I checked my bottle and it says it's okay to use on faces. It's about 拢10 for a bottle, but you use the smallest amounts and I should imagine it would last a long long time if you are only applying it to your face.

Microdermabrasion will get rid of it quicker than any creams - heres some info for you:

Microdermabrasion (often referred to as Microderm) is a family of cosmetic procedures popular in day spas, doctors' practices, and medical spas in which the stratum corneum (dead outermost surface of the skin) is partially or completely removed by light abrasion, to remove sun-damaged skin and to remove or lessen scars and dark spots on the skin.

The procedure is not very painful and requires no anaesthetic. Microdermabrasion can be used medically for scar removal when the scar is raised above the surrounding skin, but is less effective with sunken scars. There is very little, if any, evidence that microdermabrasion stimulates collagen formation. Microdermabrasion can also be used for treatment of acne, but must be repeated periodically to be effective.

A good place to go for it is SKN CLINICS

A chemical peel is a non-invasive method used to brighten and rejuvenate skin. It can make skin look less wrinkled, smooth out acne scars, other blemishes and enlarged pores and remove pigment spots. It also has a positive impact on oily skin. Chemical peels are a safe and easy way to freshen your skin.

The procedure is suitable for just about anyone who is looking for a quick improvement in their skin appearance, and a very effective way of removing skin blemishes. The procedure lasts several minutes; a peeling solution of a variety of substances is used, most often hydroxyl acid.

Today you don't even have to go to a derma's clinic for chemical peel. You can do it in the comfort of your own home. It is safe and very effective, and you get the results that you've been dreaming of!

Therefore, our son's scars were now moistened daily. Very soon, they disappeared, even the ones deep in the nose.';

  • How to get rid of facial stubble after shaving?

Well, I have black hair so I never really get the ';clean shaven look'; and always end up with little stubble on my face. How do I get rid of this or should I try to?How to get rid of facial stubble after shaving?
Shave after a hot shower. Put a hot towel on your face. Use a sharp razor. Use good shaving cream. Shave in the right direction.

I am transitioning to shaving with a straight razor. Check out this blog I found that covers the whole spectrum of shaving stuff. www.shaveblog.com

Is it ok Microdermabrasion and facial waxing on the same day?

I am planning a spa day and I need to know if I can I get Microdermabrasion plus mini facial and get my face waxed on the same day?Is it ok Microdermabrasion and facial waxing on the same day?
I would wait at least 24 hours between the 2 procedures, because both can irritate your skin. You could end up with a really red, raw, blotchy face if you do both on the same day. Give your skin time to heal between proedures definitely. Is it ok Microdermabrasion and facial waxing on the same day?
Nooo, they are both exfoliating procedures and they may leave you with permanent scarring and uneven discoloration. Wait at least 7 days after the professional microderma before you have your waxing, this way you let your skin heal.

    Good luck.
I think you should definitely wait one day before waxing!! Or wax first... yea. For sure... wax first! Your skin gets really irritated after microdermabrasion. It'll hurt like 3 times more.
I wouldn't try this! They both can irritate the skin!

How can I enhance my facial features w/o wearing make up?

Im going to see a model and talent agent and I know that Im suppose to wear little to no make up but I dont know how to enhance my facial features. I have grey/green eyes, medium brown hair and naturally tan. What is best to wear on my face and are tinted moisturizers good? How can I enhance my facial features w/o wearing make up?
You can wear more natural make up, but theres not a lot of ways to get what you want sans makeup.

Try using clear or brown mascara just to make your eyes a little defined. How can I enhance my facial features w/o wearing make up?
Smile and act confident ( your eyes sparkle when you smile and when you look ppl straight in the eyes and smile your persionalty doest too plus if you smile you use more muscles making your face look thinner pulling the skin tighter and making your jaw line look great) and try parting your hair differnt to try and enfacize your cheek bones differntly and ect.

Good luck with the modeling !!
Tinted moisturizes would be agood idea, however if you havent had any practice with them then dont use them

Use regular moistuizer, make sure youve plucked your eyebrows, no nose hair, ear hair, no mustache, white teeth, and put some shinny no pigmet lip gloss on.

Maybe get some sparkle powder, to give you a little shine
Do you usually wear eyeliner? If not, great. Wear tinted moisturizer, nude lipgloss, mascara, and maybe a teensy bit of eyeliner. That's about as natural as it gets. Try to avoid eyeshadow and unnatural looking blush.
i would recommend you try just a light foundation or bronzer to give your skin tone a glow and then do a nude to subtle pink lip and a dark brown eyeliner ...this way you are keeping it natural yet playing your features

Try a dark brown or dark beige eyeshadow and apply it right below the check bone. it really enhances the check bone and its hardly enough makeup to say your wearing makeup!!! lol

    hope this helps!! =]
cut your hair for something that enhances your face shape and get good hair coloring to enhance your skintone
yes, Coppertone- gradual tan is great!

    use man creme
The following is a great, quick little mask you can do at home.

It cleans %26amp; clears the skin. If you have quite a few blemishes (not just blackheads, active acne) follow up with an good moisturizer such as Cetaphyl or Purpose.

    ';The aspirin mask is a homemade BHA mask available to each and everyone of us, totally inexpensive and highly efficient, made of salicylic acid or tablets of aspirin. BHA is known to help tremendously with cleaning pores from deep inside and therefore contribute to keeping our skin blemish-free. BHAs are efficient on existing blemishes as well, by helping them heal faster and keeping pores clean afterwards.';

This mask is good for all skin types, especially normal to oily and combination skin, acne-prone and clogged skin.

    ';Basic preparation: 1/4 tsp. salicylic acid (ask for it at pharmacy, if you cannot find it, then crush 3-5 tablets of plain aspirin instead), distilled water. Mix the powder with the water until it becomes of a creamy consistence, apply on clean dry skin (focus on T-zone and sides of the nose). Keep it on until completely dry. Take a small cotton pad, wet it lightly and begin scrubbing the areas covered with the mask, making small circles. Finally, rinse with plenty of water. It would be excellent to apply a calming mask or a hydrating mask first, followed by your regular moisturizer. Skin will be left completely smooth and even.';
