Can you teach yourself how have your facial hair and give yourself a buzz cut with a straight razor?

You mean teach yourself how to cut your hair and style your facial hair?

I buzz my hair, and have stubble facial hair. And i manage it no probs, just use a pair of trimmers and a beard trimmer. Takes me about 20Min's to do the hair and facial hair. Saves me money and looks great.

I use the bathroom mirror and then hang a mirror behind when im using the trimmer on my hair, then use the trimmer to square up my neck line.

How to reduce razor burn and ingrown facial hairs?

I shave with a sharp razor, a Schick Quad 4, and use shaving gel, but I still get razorburn on my neck after shaving. I've seen people that seem to have PERFECTLY smooth skin, without any irritation. How do they do this? Anybody have any secrets to reduce razor burn? I also wash my face, though only at night, and use after shave. How to reduce razor burn and ingrown facial hairs?
Make sure you shave with the grain and not against the grain, you can always go over the thickest areas again if need be, also don't stretch the skin to expose more of the hair as this will cause the razor to strip the moisture out of your skin and leave it feeling raw, red, and itchy especially on the neck and collar line.

Also never hack hack hack!

You may find that a good shaving oil suits you better than gel, use two or three drops in the palm of your hand and massage into the beard with warm water (best in the shower). Leave for a minute then shave. How to reduce razor burn and ingrown facial hairs?
Most all humans are familiar with hair removal. Thanks to cultural benchmarks of cleanliness and appearance, men and women frequently do not go about their daily lives with disheveled body hair sprouting from their bodies.

Shaving is viewed as an annoyance because of the periodic appearance of razor bumps and razor burn.

We all are familiar with the routine of the early morning shave. Almost 90% of men prefer shaving every day. When added all up, the common man will spend the equivalent of 30 days of his life shaving.

Whether it is men shaving their heads or women with their armpits, we all dislike the whole method of shaving. The emergence of razor burns has most often been cited as the main reason people hate shaving. Shavers bumps form very frequently due to a number of different reasons.

Razor Bumps When hair is cut, the shaft can occasionally grow back in at an off angle. These inflammations are referred to as ingrown hairs and can induce irritation and pus.

Trapped hairs trigger inflammation which result in the body forming a papule. The raised bumps on the skin is the root for the term 'razor bumps'.

Why the hair returns in at an angle has always been up for discussion and fervid medical scrutiny. Natural oils and outside environmental factors can block hair follicles, making the hair divert its route to the skin.

The increase of dead skin cells in a hair follicle can also be a component in the materialization of ingrown hairs. Impeding the hairs exit can make it search for another way out through a different follicle.

Ingrown Hairs A few hair shafts are curly. Curved hair strands do not always need to be impeded to grow in at an angle. The natural curvature of the strand will point the tip in the wrong direction, causing it to infect the skin cells around the follicle.

Shaving can destroy skin cells which then inflame the hair follicle and make blockages more common. We all want a clear complexion, not an adverse reaction to shaving.

Shaving is a necessity in today's world. Slovenly facial hair and body hair is frowned upon by society. With shaving, there come side effects. Razor burn and razor bumps can be cured with the daily application of a shaver bump removal ingredient produced by a unique source. The serum negates bacteria on the skin and inside follicles, while also stimulating cellular growth inside the follicle. Shaving is a necessary evil in our society, suffering from painful side effects of hair removal is not.

What are some ways to make my facial skin soft?

I want soft and smooth skin. I have little bumps and I want to get rid of them. What are some ways to make my facial skin soft?
My skin is very soft so I will tell you my skin regimen.

Every morning I wash my face with Nuetrogena Deep Clean Face Wash. Drugstores often carry their generic brand of this which works just the same but is cheaper.

Then I use Clean and Clear Sensitive Skin Deep Cleaning Astringent with Salicylic Acid (for acne)

I follow up with Ponds Dry Skin Extra Rich Skin Cream (very emolient a little goes a long way!)

I then apply aveeno spf 15 sunblock.

At night I first remove my makeup with Garnier Nutritioniste Nutri-pure oil free detoxifying towelettes. They get all the makeup off and all the yucky enviornmental free radicals. I then follow up with the same routine as the morning.

Every 3 days I swap my face wash at night with St. Ives Apricot Scrub with Salicylic acid for sensitive skin. I do this at night because it tends to stimulate oil production and thats bad news under makeup.

Find a regimen that works for you :)What are some ways to make my facial skin soft?
really the best way that i have found to be effective is face creams and washes with the exfoliating beads in them. you can actually see the beads that rub away the dead skin cells and make your face baby skin soft! the best brand is probably neutrogena and a really good exfoliating wash is the neutrogena power-clear scrub with green tea that prevents irritation. another AMAZING product that makes your skin the smoothest ever is the neutrogena wave. it seriously works the best of anything i'v ever tried and make your skin soo soft.

good luck! hope i helped

What is the advantage of going for facial treatments?

I would like to stop my facial treatment package as the skin has improved but am worried that the skin deteriorates. What is the advantage of going for facial treatments?
you should continue it regularly, at least once in a month. I think the skin needs this treatment to recover the dead cells beside that this treatment is good for general health and mind. I do it every month and I feel so relaxed afterwards. What is the advantage of going for facial treatments?
well, if you don't wish to continue your facial treatment package, then i'd suggest you get a good facial products so you can do your own facial at home, like maybe the SK-II Facial facial products that you can get on 88db, hope this helps
I don't see any spectacular advantage but on the contrary it can permanently ruin the face as one becomes dependent on it for ever, and as one is forced to continue and does continue, the damage done as a result can never be undone!

So, it is better for one to be content with what one is and resort to only basic hygenic maintenance!
buy a branded facial massager...and u use it once or twice in a week( u can also it daily)..then u dont need any facial treatment...

What facial features do women find attractive in men?

Also body features, how much muscle is 2 much like arm size, if you can be strictly physicalWhat facial features do women find attractive in men?
Eyes, hair and a nice smile.

Muscles... The 'I work out a bit' kind, not the 'I live counting my protein intake and my curl reps' kind.

I like everything in proper proportion -- so if you look like a triangle, forget it.

Most attractive thing? Confidence, but not so much as to feel like the last Coke in the desert. What facial features do women find attractive in men?
little or no facial hair, beautiful bright eyes, in between lips (not too small or really big), no warewolf eyebrows, no skeleton face, .

average body- no I-go-to-the-gym body, average height, slightly toned legs, not a belly that makes you look like you are about to go into labor, average body hair for a guy.

Dang, I feel evil and low now, thanks
Facial features: I think big/long noses are really attractive in men. Facial hair is good too %26amp; nice, friendly eyes %26amp; smile. Not too muscled, like if you can count how many muscles are on your arm, it's a bit gross, sorry! Body: well as long as you're in proportion, doesn't really matter how big or small your body is :)
as for me... the facial features would be the lips i find ';oh so'; attractive lol

body features - the chest and the back
too much arm mucle is someone like john cena or those other ECW ppl...

but someone like rafael nadal has perfectly good muscles =] size and shape :P YUMMY!!
i like big dark eyes, whether it be dark green, dark blue, dark brown, i also like guys that are taller than me
    freckles,
i would say like eyes %26amp; nice hair and stuff

    %26amp; good abs.

How long does redness last after a facial?

If I'm getting a facial early in the morning, how long will the redness last? Would I be able to go out in broad daylight an hour later and not look...ew?How long does redness last after a facial?
I agree w/ beauty fan, it takes 2-4 hours for any blotchiness to fade. To help minimize blotchiness from the facial, avoid caffeine and chocolate at least 24 hours before your facial. Be sure to apply sunscreen after the facial or wear a protective hat.

A facial exposes the fresh layer of skin which is vulnerable to sunburn. How long does redness last after a facial?
I agree with the second answer..If it is done right..there will be no redness. I have heard of people scabbing afterwards..that's not good at all! I would do some research on the salon ..but that's just me;)
You shouldn't have any redness unless the person giving the facial gives you some intense exfoliation...which she shouldn't do, cause it will make you break out over the next few days.

    You'll love it :)
it takes about 2 days, to reduce the redness you should ask them for the cream to reduce it. it may cost a little bit more but worth it. Anyway good luck I love facials, i do mines on the weekend so that i look normal during the weekdays.
it takes at least 1/2 a day to look ok. an hour is not enuff. take a day off from the sun otherwise the heat will affect ur skin

  • What facial piercing is the least painful?

I'm trying to decide between a lip nose or eyebrow piercing. I can't decide and since i am not sure which one I will like better I'm wondering which would be the least painful. What facial piercing is the least painful?
The least painful facial piercing is, of course, no piercing, but the eyebrow piercing tends to hurt less than nose or (especially!) lip or tongue. That's because there are slightly fewer pain receptors in your eyebrow and it's less likely to get infected because there is not a lot going on in/around your eyebrow. (Your nose can get infected from the mucus not being cleaned out, and your lip/tongue have a lot more nerve endings than even your fingertips, plus you've always got stuff like food or heaven forbid, tobacco, in and around your mouth and all the bacteria that accumulate and can cause infections.)What facial piercing is the least painful?
The nose would hurt more because it's more sensitive %26amp; thicker. Makes your eyes water. I had my nose %26amp; bottom lip pierced years ago - it's done so quickly %26amp; didn't really hurt that much.

I just don't wear them anymore because they felt irritating after a while, especially the lip piercing.
well honestly i think your eyebrow would be the best place i have mine done and i figured it would hurt more then my belly button but my belly button was the worst as long as u get it professionally done it will not hurt as much as getting ur ear done..............but personaly if u got ur lip pirced you can not drink or performe oral sex for 2 weeks thats if you do taht lol
eyebrow is a breeze. Nose is thick cartlidge and cartlidge piercings hurt. Lip feels like being punched in the mouth by a sissy with sharp knuckles according to my piercer.
i think the eye brow is the least painful.

    and the lip.

but the lip is a little bit tender.
I think nose is the worst becuase its so thick,

    and than lip.

    and eyebrow
nose is the least painful. but i find eyebrow much more attractive! (it hurts a lil yay but its cool ;p)
    lip

Do facial exercises really work in losing cheek and chin fat?

According to my weight I'm a pretty skinny girl, but my face says otherwise. My cheeks are chubby, and I have a slight double chin. I looked online to see how I could get rid of them, and many of the websites suggested facial exercises. Do they really help?Do facial exercises really work in losing cheek and chin fat?
No, when exercising, your body uses energy from your bloodstream, and when your blood contains less sugar, your body releases some from the liver or draws from your fat reserves. That, obviously, won't happen specifically at the same site the effort is taking place!Do facial exercises really work in losing cheek and chin fat?
no not at all. Your body has fat cells all over. The shrink and expand equally all over your body.

  • What is causing my 3week old a facial rash?

My 3 week old has formed a rash on his little face.I am using Similac Advanced formula (milk based) . I haved tried using Isomil Formula (soy based) . Would this formula work better ? Also, Is it okay to give my baby a sugar free juice once a day? What is causing my 3week old a facial rash?
The rash is normal, there is a name for it. Contact your Pediatrician

just to make sure. Do not give your child any kind of juice just yet. A water bottle will be just find. If you didn't get one @ your baby shower, purchase a book that's from birth to 24 months it will be a great help

answering your questions. What is causing my 3week old a facial rash?
NO JUICE! The baby is too young for anything except formula or breast milk, unless of course the pediatrician give special instructions. Don't hop around formulas, it can cause digestive upsets if you do it too much. My daughter had a rash going on for a while... she had multiple protein allergies diagnosed at 4 weeks, but she continued the rash for a few weeks after we put her on special formula. Could just be baby pimpled or eczema. Sometimes, she drools on herself in her sleep and it leaves a little rash. Putting a tiny bit of petroleum jelly around the rash before bedtime can help create a barrier against outside irritants like spit-up and drool.
Your baby could be lactose intolerant. I know when my brother was 3 weeks old, he got a really bad rash on his face, and it was due to the formula that we were giving him. He was also on Similac Advanced. The doctor told us to switch his formula to a lactose free based, and since then he's been doing great on formula. He's 7 months now.

This is the formula that we had to switch him too.

    http://www.enfamil.com/app/iwp/enfamil/productDetail.do?dm=enf%26amp;id=/Consumer_Home2/Enf_Products/ForInfants/NutramigenLGG
Do not give your baby sugar free juice yet. He doesn't need it! Does your significant other or someone who has been holding him a lot have a beard? That happened to our daughter, my husband's beard was irritating her skin. Talk to your pediatrician, ASAP about formula questions and feeding questions. Your baby should ONLY be on formula or breastmilk right now....NOTHING else UNLESS prescribed by your doctor!!!
It sounds like it could be a food allergy rash called eczema.

It's probably an allergy to milk because that is very common, and another common allergy that a lot of people don't even know is soy.

Maybe try another type that isn't soy or milk?

You should also go to a doctor to check for sure
Only a doctor can tell you what is causing the rash. Call tomorrow.

No it's not ok to give a 3 week old baby juice. All he/she needs is formula. Juice is not good for them when they are this young.
It could be the formula alone. Are you wiping your baby's face after each feeding? The moisture + heat could be causing a breakout. No, no juice at this age.
could be baby ache..but it wouldn't hurt to take him/her to the doc to make sure. as for the juice i would also ask the pediatrician
At 3 weeks old your baby is WAY to young for anything but formula. Are you sure the rash isn't infant acne? or maybe a heat rash?

Is there any way of making my facial hair grow quicker and thicker?

I'm 17, male and have a bit of facial hair in certain places but would like a more even consistency of hair on my face. I'm not obsessed with this so don't answer this question if you're gonna be offensive. Plus, does shaving daily help speed up the process of getting longer and thicker hair?

There really isn't anything you can do to get the results you want. You're just going to have to wait.Is there any way of making my facial hair grow quicker and thicker?
Don't know about facial hair but eat olive oil with your food when appropriate. Your fingernails will grow faster too.

This question has been asked a hundred times here. I hope if you have another question you'll look to see if someone else has already asked it and read the answers they got.
About shaving, it really doesn't help hair grow out faster or thicker, it just looks thicker because the end of the hair thinner than when you just cut it off! I try to explain this to everyone but noo none of my stupid friends ever believe me..

but anyway. i'm not a man.. but you could try hair loss stuff on your face?
Hun, from an 18 year old chic...why would you want to grow MORE facial hair??! =P

Girls like a clean face. My advice...your ';beard'; will get thicker/consistent with time. But for now, leave it clean =) muchhhh better ;)
Shaving only makes it grow a TINY bit faster but not thicker. Why would you want 2 grow MORE hair any way? girls like kissing men with clean smooth faces!

What do you do to shrink large facial pores?

I have very oily skin and my pores are so large that I am always breaking out with pimples. I was told I need to try to shrink my facial pores so I won't have so many break outs. What do you do to shrink large facial pores?
start using a toner and always rinse with cold water after cleansingWhat do you do to shrink large facial pores?
Microderm abrasion is a simple, straight forward, non-invasive procedure that revitalizes dull skin, reduces large pores, erases fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, reduces mild pigment irregularities (hyperpigmentation), stretch marks and age spots. It is equally effective to other skin treatments and, most importantly, it allows you to get back to your daily routine immediately after treatment

By removing a very fine skin layer, micro derm abrasion stimulates collagen production, thus encouraging cellular renewal. Old skin is replaced by new healthy skin cells - this is known to help acne, enlarged pores and blackheads, age spots and sun-damaged skin and uneven skin tone (hyperpigmentation).

Microdermabration removes excess oil, debris and dead cells - This also helps minimize large pores and get rid of pimples and age spots.

Microdermabrasion mildly exfoliates the top layer of the skin in order to remove superficial acne scarring. To get rid of the start of facial wrinkles and fine lines, what have you had personal success with?

I'm not interested in surgery or injections. To get rid of the start of facial wrinkles and fine lines, what have you had personal success with?
    Facials!!

I used to get them regularly %26amp; the facial is fantastic! It's relaxing, a facialist massages your face and puts lovely stuff on your skin.

It cost me about a hundred dollars but I was in upstate New York getting this wonderful treatment. Where you live the price might be different. To get rid of the start of facial wrinkles and fine lines, what have you had personal success with?
I'm 33 (tomorrow) and my absolute revelation in stopping the early signs of ageing before they've begun is Decleor Aromessence oils. Fantastic facial oils to go under your moisturiser suited to all skin types. My skin looks better now than it did in my early 20s as a result of this product.
I was starting to get crow's feet, I got a deluxe sample of Juvena Eye Deline, and they actually disappeared.

they haven't come back, but if they do, I'd probably have to suck it up and buy a bottle of it.
Life will take it's course, there's nothing you can do unless you want to look like Michael Jackson.

What age should I start to grow facial hair?

Im 16 and have hair in ... most other places lol but ot much on my face? wtf? when should it start to grow? What age should I start to grow facial hair?
it will happen when it happens, it sucks to have to shave all the time so enjoy it while you canWhat age should I start to grow facial hair?
Some guys just have quite sparse facial hair growth and you may just be one of them . At 16 you still have time to develop a faster rate of hair growth .
You mean when will it start growing , not when should i ?
    when its ready to
If your a bloke, between 14 and 21.

If you are a lady, 40+
It depends on your genes and whether or not you start shaving...some guys can get away their entire lives with a little scruff on their chins.
    i gt mine at 15
Usually about 18-20. Some men never get any, the Aztecs didn't and a lot of people in some regions of China don't.
some people take a while, I'm 25 and still don't have full facial hair
    About 18
Well most have it at age 14 but boys can get it earlier.

When did your dad get his facial hair? It is mostly about genes really.

But I know a guy that didn't have hair until 29 so there is no way to know really, just wait =]
my mate didnt have facial hair til he was 18.

i started getting it at 13.

trust me, enjoy not having to shave every day while you can!
Anytime between the ages of 16 and 20. If you are very fair it may be later rather than earlier
depends what stage u r in puberty

Will facial transplants ever become the norm?

Realistically, are facial transplants just for people who experienced trauma? Or will they some day be available for normal ugly people? Is the procedure too risky to perform on normal people? Will facial transplants ever become the norm?
I doubt it will be a norm outside of medical necessity, it is very expensive and risky, you also are left with heavy scarring and it takes a lot of surgeries to get right. Plastic surgery is much more effective, economical and safer when you're dealing with a normal/healthy face. Will facial transplants ever become the norm?
I didn't know you could transplant a face.

Do you mean facial reconstructive surgury ?

And that is available to ugly people. They just may not think there ugly.
with our society it probably will be...

What do you think of girls with facial piercings?

I have my nose pierced and i was thinking about getting a small stud under my lip, but i want to know what people think of girls with piercings? I'm not rough looking or anything, i have no tattoos, etc.

Guys do you find it attractive? Would you not be with a girl because of it? Does it come off trashy? Opinions, opinions, opinions! What do you think of girls with facial piercings?
It totally depends on the person, the piercings, and what kind of jewelry you wear in them.

i.e. I have snakebites but I wear just these tiny little labret studs in them; so it just looks like two cute little diamons, and I get tons of complements, tons of dates, and so far no one has said anything rude about them od didn't like them (except for old people haha)

But on the other hand; I know this girl from and she has just one lip piercing but she wears this huge lip ring in it with two hugee balls on it (haha that sounded wrong) But anyway it just looks terrible, but she's kindof a creepy gothic chick (and no I have nothing against gothic people in general, just her but it's not cause shes gothic I have other issues with her)So yeah, it depends on what kinda jewelry you have in and how many you have, but honestly, I think a nose nd a labret in your lip would be really cute, go for it. (:What do you think of girls with facial piercings?
as just the other side of the argument, you shouldn't care what people think of u i have my tragus, lip, tongue, nipple and bellybutton done and i have 4 tattoos with another one in the planning. many peeps have come up to me and ask me questions about my piercings and tattoos. if i wasn't married id have had Alto of dates from blokes. if u want a pierced lip u should ave one, if a bloke doesn't like it his problem not Ur's its ur body and u do what u want with it.....just playing devils advocate.
for me it depends how the girl's lifestyle is,

if there just a scene girl with a face full of metal it's kind of trashy.

but i mean if its some punk/metal chick (usually wearing worn down clothes, haha) they can still look cute with them :D
    pumpin like an air pump.
if the person is attractive and looks clean piercings look good.

but too many is not good.
It depends, I like one peircing, but really more then one in my opinion looks too trashy
No comment, usually I don't like piercing.
I just do not think of women with piercings. Period.
Well- I dont like it. I dont care if people have them- but I get chills for soem reason.
i only have my nose pierced and i think its the cutest thing ever

  • What skin type am I and what facial cleanser should I use?

I have slightyly tanned skin. I have bumps on my forehead, cheeks and the space between my eyes and my nose. I rarely get acne. How do I find out what skin type I am? And which facial cleanser should I use? Please suggest a big brand because I live in Korea. There is a lot of Clean%26amp; Clear, Cetaphil, Body Shop, Nivea, and Neutrogena. What skin type am I and what facial cleanser should I use?
these are the general skin types =

sensitive skin = if you have bad reaction to skincare products that tend to have harsh ingredients. cetaphil is great to use if you have sensitive skin =p plus its cheap!!!!

dry skin = you always feel that your skin tends to dry even during hotter weather. you always feel like you need to slap extra moisturiser on your face. if this is your skin type, use a cleanser that is cream-based. neutrogena has one called deep clean cream cleanser. plus, opt for cream rather than a lotion since cream is richer in moisture.

combination skin = you always find oil around your T zone ( forehead, nose and chin) but your cheeks are either normal or dry. look for products that is specialised for combination skin. apparently, cetaphil has a new range for oily/ combination skin. neutrogena has a moisturiser for combination skin as well.

oily skin = the name says it all. oil everywhere. you can use the cetaphil oily cleanser. neutrogena also has lots of range for oily skin e.g.: deep clean face wash.

acne/ blemished skin = lots of impurities on your face, acne/ blemishes/ pimples. if you have those large acne, you can use cetaphil gentle cleanser and a topical treatment of benzoyl peroxide although some people may find that this treatment can be irritating.

if you have tiny white bumps (white heads) or black stuff that looks like tiny hairs (black heads), then i would suggest you to find cleanser with salicylic acid/ BHA as it helps to clear those impurities. you can also use pore strips from biore for those stubborn blackheads on your nose... although it doesnt totally remove all the gunk, you can actually see a difference...

note that just because you have acne, it does not mean you have oily/ combination skin. you might have sensitive skin but still get acne!

and your skin type can change due to the weather, hormones in your body and your diet. so you might find yourself changing products to suit your skin needs.

um i dont really know of what's wrong with your skin during winter but maybe you just need to drink more fluids? and use a moisturiser with spf =p

or you can make an appointment to the dermatologist since he/she can specifically check your skin type and recommend products to use =p

good luckWhat skin type am I and what facial cleanser should I use?
Try Aveeno. I have oily skin and use their clear complexion formula but they also have just a regular one for normal skin. I won't use anything else on my face and my skin looks 100% times better than it did. I've been using it for three years!!!

The best place to go is to see a SA at a department store counter. They can help you with your skin type and what cleanser to use. There is 100s out there. The one you use in Winter won't work generally in Summer and vice versa because of the change in the enviroment.
i had the same. then i got clearasil wipes and they went away by only using it once a day and in like 3 days, they were gone. you can find clearasil wipes at wallgreens, cvs, or some place like that for only $10

What should I use to reduce a facial scar?

I had a mole removed to the left of my nose, above my lip about a week ago. I finally had my stitches removed today, and have a scar around or a little less than half an inch. I've heard Mederma works, but what's the best way to get rid of the scar? What creams/ointments work best?

ThanksWhat should I use to reduce a facial scar?
The scar will fade. I had a mole removed from my neck (front side) and it first looked like a ring, but it faded. You cant even see it anymore. Dont pay to get it rrmoved. It will fade. What should I use to reduce a facial scar?
Mederma really does work good.... on all scars, you might also wanna try Vitamin E ointment.
there's bio-oil, its worked ok for me on acne scars no sure how it would do for your mole scar but it does work pretty well

What are some good ways to unclog facial pores?

I wash my face twice a day, use an oil-free moisturizer, exfoliate with an apricot scrub every other day, and use a clay mask once a week, so it's not like I don't take good care of my skin. I just have really clogged pores for some reason, and I can't get the gunk out of them.

Oh, and steaming DOES NOT WORK for me.

Pore strips do not work either.

What are some good ways to unclog facial pores?
you could go and get a facial and they will do extractions. or you could do it at home after a shower when your skin is warm you basically squeeze the pores until stuff comes out. kinda looks like when you pop a whitehead. it takes awhile to get used to. if you are like me, i have to do this once a week b/c my pores get clogged quick. What are some good ways to unclog facial pores?
i get a bowl and half fill it with boiling water and get the bowl on a table and place you're face about 5 cm away from the bowl then cover you're head with a towel. Stay like this for five mins and i can bet it will work

    good luck :D :D

What are the best mailing list companies for consumers interested in head, body and facial massage?

I'm in the process of putting my 1st project together, and would like to know the best consumer lists for my target market, reaching prospective customers by direct mail. What are the best mailing list companies for consumers interested in head, body and facial massage?
why not consider a joint venture with another business who have the same customers (target market) to you but are not in direct competition with your business.

for example, if you sold car insurance you could partner up with a car sales garage to promote your insurance and give them commission for sales of your insurance. that way they are promoting your products/service directly to your target market, and it won't cost you a penny until they make you a sale!

i'm sure you could apapt something similar to fit your business and save you money on buying mailing lists.

What would be the consequences of the facial muscles in a dog were damaged?

Could you give me examples for the Masseter, Temporal and Buccinator.

ThanksWhat would be the consequences of the facial muscles in a dog were damaged?
If the muscles were partically severed, or torn, then the animal in question would recover. If they were severed completely, or if the tendons were cut, then they would not be able to move those muscles any more. As the muscles mentioned are used for chewing (mastication), partical tears would be an inconvience, but the dog would recover (albeit with great discomfort). What would be the consequences of the facial muscles in a dog were damaged?
Because these muscles are used for mastication, the dog would have problems chewing its food.

How noticeable is the clear jewerly for facial piercings?

I have this job where I in no shape or form can have a facial piercing and I was wondering how noticeable the clears were so I could get something done and just not tell anyone. How noticeable is the clear jewerly for facial piercings?
It's like clear bra straps- just visible enough to be totally tacky. How noticeable is the clear jewerly for facial piercings?
Well even if they are clear ones they are still a piercing and if your job doesn't allow you to have facial piercings in any shape or form then you will still be violating that. If you don't have them now then don't get them with that job they won't be happy and if you get them they can fire you for it. If you have them now work something out with the place and ask if you can wear clear retainers in them.
Depending on where the piercing is, or what clear type you get, they aren't all that noticeable. I have a lip ring, I used to get the clear short bars that had a flat end and the other end was a nub and a clear rubber washer held it in place. you could barely see it if I wore the flat end out.

If even the clear one is too noticeable...On days I forgot my clear one, every time I'd get a slow moment alone, I'd just slip my regular one through the hole to keep it opened as and left it in during my break. It kept it from shrinking or closing. So you could do that if your job is a job where customers, boss or some other higher up isn't in your face all day.
anything on your face is visible

i think someone would notice if something were sticking out, especially from the side view

also facial jewelry is really inappropriate and makes you look like you are trying to hard to stand out

i would just stick to getting your ears pierced

    hope this helped

BTW: usually only goth people wear facial jewelry
Facial piercings are gonna be noticeable sooner or later. What are you gonna do when your boss looks right at you? What are you gonna say about that thing on your face?

Jobs are really limited when it comes to piercings and I recommend you don't try to hide it because you could get fired.
What kind of piercing is it? I did this with my nose...If you buy a clear stud, and cut the ball off the top, it is less noticeable, but can fall out a little more easily, but not much...They aren't too bad...the job that I had had the same rules as yours, and I got away with it for 2 years!
from farther away you cant realy notice it depening on where you have it.

but depening on where you have it, when your closer up to the person you can defenietly tell
i had a clear one through my lip for work, and it still is quite noticable if you talking or up close to the person, but i just used to quickly slip it out when i saw my boss coming
i have a lip piercing and a nose one and i also

sometimes wear clear jewlery for them you can still

kinda notice them if your far away you cant notice them
Well if someone is right up next to you then yes..it is visible...but most places of employment allow the clear ones...what sort of job is it that you cannot express yourself?
pretty noticeable, unless your employers are blind.
    yu can still notice sometimes
    NO
    well blind people wont notice

  • Why is there so much hate towards facial piercings?

I posted a question asking what type of uncommon piercing (facial) should I get, and I got really rude answers, and even got told to be a ';normal person'; and get a life. Why is there so much hate towards facial piercings, or any type of piercings?I find these people rather fearful or close minded. Why is there so much hate towards facial piercings?
People are just intolerant. I'd much rather be unusual and one-of-a-kind than a ';normal'; person with no way to express myself. Why is there so much hate towards facial piercings?
Personally, I see piercings as a degradation of the body and therfore tasteless and disgusting. BUT, I understand people get them to express themselves, and I'm OK with that...
    i personally love facial peircing..

noserings, liprings, eyebrow rings are pretty much

    what im up for....

but do what makes you happy :)
Most people think they are just for attention because now you can get them done professionally the pain that used to go along with them and make them worthwhile is gone. So they lose the life changing effect they used to have. Now its just a paid for and medicated statement that you wish to be different
I love the idea of piercings. Sometimes they can be impractical though, like I love the vertical labret, but it would make eating/drinking harder. That's the only reason I wouldn't get one, also, if it did reject, I would hate the scars.
because you look like some wirdo with metal sticking out of every part of their face

Can facial hair grow through acne scars?

I've had acne for as long as I can remember. I'm now 18 and am just beginning to clear up. Whenever I would get a pimple I would just pop it. Well now I have small scars from all those years of popping the occasional pimple. Because of those scars my facial hair now grows uneven. Does anyone know of anything to help me or any advice? Can facial hair grow through acne scars?
Congrats on your clear skin! I bet that's a great feeling. Unfortunately, hair does not grow through scars of any type, no matter where on your body. That's cool though, shave and show off your nice skin! Use a good quality cream and razor! Can facial hair grow through acne scars?

What is the best way to remove facial and body hair?

I've been told that the reason I am growing beard-like hairs on my chin is that I have poly cystic ovary syndrome. I also have hairs growing on my chest.... blah.

I was told by the endocrinologist to buy a shaver and use it when I needed to, but I am reasonably sure there are better ways aren't there???

The hairs are quite light coloured and wiry. What is the best way to remove facial and body hair?
Electrolysis is one of the best ways to get rid of unwanted hair, especially light coloured ones, Laser does not work on light coloured hair.

Its relatively expensive and said to be 97% effective, no one will guarantee 100% as hair has a tendancy to do its own thing.

Loads of beauticians are doing electrolysis these days and you should be able to fnd one close to you.

I hope this helps. be happy xxWhat is the best way to remove facial and body hair?
for facial hair waxing and threading arte the best. and over time u will need to do them less and less often. NO shaving! the doc must be crazy to even suggest that. and no hair removing creams either. if u want, you can try laser too, but it takes quite a few sittings and is expensive.
Do not shave! Especially on your chin! They will just grow back darker and thicker. I would suggest useing either hair removal cream (make sure you can use it in the area you want cause some are only for certain body areas) waxing or laser removal (this can be expensive though)
please go for laser treatment. also go to a gud endocrinologist....shocked to hear that a doctor is asking to use shaver. Laser is best. If u think it is costly then go for chin threading regularly....pls avoid shaver!!!

you should not shave cause it is only going to last for very little time and the hair will become darker .I think you should go ask a cosmetician.

What is the best way to remove facial hair?

Which product would you recommend for facial area. What is the best way to remove facial hair?
    eyebrow- wax, thread, or tweeze

    upperlip-thread

    chin-thread

entire face-bleach, wax, or thread. What is the best way to remove facial hair?
I actually recommend that you dont ';remove'; the hair, but instead, lighten the hair with a facial hair bleach. I did that and it worked and you can't even notice the hair, except for the side burn area on one side where i left it on too long and it's like orangey lol. But this is easier and less stressful because you won't have to do it over and over again, but with hair removal, the hair will keep coming back. hope I helped!
their are plenty of ways to remove facial hairs. you could get it waxed of you could even do it yourself.
    tweez your eye brows
I would recommend threading instead that way you don't have to put chemicals on your face.

Does anyone have a good recipe for facial masks?

I need a very simple facial mask for helping a breakout.. One made of something most people have around the house, without having to go to the store.Does anyone have a good recipe for facial masks?
2 teaspoons of honey, 1 egg white, and 1-3 teaspoons teaspoon of mayo..........its VERY messy but it helps dry things out. Just mix it until smooth and add more honey or mayo if desired. bc of the egg white it will somewhat harden. after your done wash your face VERY well.

Also: try mixing 1/2 a asparin with a teaspoon of lemon juice until it forms a paste then let it stay on your zit overnight. dries it right upDoes anyone have a good recipe for facial masks?
Here are few home made mask which you can try according to your convience.

    a) Make a paste of masoor dal+curd+ a few drops of juice of neem leaves and apply as a mask. When dry, remove with finger tips and wash off with water. It is very effective in dealing with pimples and gives the skin a glow.

    b) Make the mask with 2 tsp of sandal wood paste, 2tsp of gram flour, a pinch of camphor powder, 3 tsp of almond paste, 10 strands of saffron, the white of an egg and some milk to mix it all into a smooth paste. Apply all over the skin and leave on for 20 mins. Dab with cold milk and scrub off gently. This should be used 3 times a week.

    c) Make your own facial with distilled water, 3-4 drops of rose or chamomile essential oil mix well and pour in a small spray bottle. Spray your face throughtout the day especially in an air-conditioned environment after shaking the bottle. This will refresh the face. If distilled water not available, make at home by collecting steam by boiling water and condesing the steam.

    d) Try using face mask daily or weekly due to which the skin will look younger. Egg yolk, honey, banana, day old yogurt can be used as face mask.

    e) Mix 1 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp of cream. Apply on face and wash it off after few minutes

A new moisturizing mask i came up with myself is

    1/4 C oatmeal cook with 1/3 c water

    i slice cucumber

    1 tb honey

    1 tb plain yogurt

1 tb coconut oil ( this stuff is the best i just started using it i put it everywhere it smells good and its great for your skin!!

Blend together in blender store in fridge apply to face for 20 min rinse with warm water i use it daily and i dont even need mouisturizers anymore to help with pores i first use lemon juice with a cotton ball than apply my moisturizer

For more info on coconut oil go herehttp://www.coconut-connections.com/skin_鈥?/a>
The best moisturizer you can get is the Hydrating Creme Concentrate from Bee Royal Products! This moisturizer will not only hydrate your skin but heal it too. It's the only thing that works for me. Plus it has no mineral oil or petroleum jelly in it to clog your pores or damage your skin.

CLINIQUE!!! Its the best and you dont have to buy the facial wash with it if you dont want to but its brilliant a little expensive but like a drink 4 ur face!
If you are looking for something you can purchase at a drug store try Clean and Clear Oil Free Dual Action Moisturizer. If you don't mind spending a little extra check out the Lancome Platineum line at Belk or Macy's.
As for a facial moisturizer I just bought Aveeno Positivley Radiant Facial moisturizer with an spf 15... I really suggest it, it evens out skin tone and has a spf to keep you healthy also! i love it
Hi. Funny that you said you have been using Olay because that was what I was gonna suggest. The good thing is that Olay has many different formulas to choose from. I'm really big on moisturizing and have tried just about anything. Everytime I see someone with great skin..no matter what age, I ask them what they use and what's their secret. Amazingly, just about everyone that I have asked says ';Olay';. So I have started using all Olay products and I can see a difference in the way my skin feels and looks in a good way. Olay also makes an unscented formula..and they have lighter and heavier formulas for different times of the year. (guess you can tell that I'm a big fan of Olay)..but try going to somewhere like Wal-Mart that carries all of the different ones and read the labels till you find one that suits your needs. Also, alot of people are not aware of it because most stores don't advertise it..but if you do purchase something from the skin care/cosmetics section you can return it even if you have used some of it. Alot of these products are expensive and I guess that's why they don't advertise it..but you can even return lipstick if it turns out that it's not your color. Oh yeah, one more thing..I have been using a product by Olay..yes, Olay..it's called Thermal skin polisher. It is a self heating exfoliating mini peel treatment and its gentle enough to use every day and keeps your pores from becoming clogged. When you put it on your face after you wash it, it gets really warm..you leave it on for a couple of minutes then rinse and your skin will feel great afterwards. Sorry for such a long answer,,I tend to get carried away, but I do hope my answer helps some and good luck to you. p.s. also I've always had good luck with Neutrogena products.
I use Cetaphil moisturizer and it reeeally helps with my dry skin. and my dermatologist recommended it to me and it doesn't clog pores or cause breakouts =)
there is this clinuqe stuff but i think you have to buy the face wash with it. just goto a store that sells clinuque stuff and see if they sell the lotion seperatly.
The best facial moisturizing lotion that wont clog pores is Arthur Lawrence Day lotion.

It is not cream but a nourishing vitamin solution that is totally natural without any scents that you spray on. I have tried alot of skin care and by far I believe this is the best,

It is not a cream but a solution that feeds and nourishes your skin without clogging up the pores. They are unconventional and like nothing else on the market.Once you try these products I don't believe you will ever look back!

How are earings and facial pearcings different?

I'm not a crazy piercing dude. I use to have the side of my lower lip pierced, but I lost interest three or four years ago and took it out. Anyway, if you're going to say because ';earings are normal'; just save yourself some embarrasment, I really want to know if there's anything to this nonsense. How are earings and facial pearcings different?
I see no problem with either, I have 7 piercings myself...

    4 ear

    1 tongue

    1 nose

    1 monroe

%26amp; I plan on getting a few surface piercings done aswell...

**It's funny that 'happy day' should say that... my ears were the ONLY piercings I've had that got infected**How are earings and facial pearcings different?
Your ears are the only safe place to get piercings. Anywhere else would be a risk and have a higher chance of getting infected.
um im not sure, iguess earrings are more girly and facial piercingsare manly, (unless ur a tuff chick lol)
well they are normal. a lot of people have their ears pierced but not a lot of regular people have their face and stuff pierced.
    The level of maturity.
earrings are socially acceptable. It is even acceptable in some Mormon churches, to have one ear piercing...

Not to mention everyone will always see your face, unless your wearing a ski mask...

    Hope I helped :)
Earrings are more common and people are more used to seeing them pierced, so that is probably why they are more ';normal'; but now people are piercing ears with bigger needles, and gaging them which takes the ';normal'; away! either way piercings are a form of expression....
