2 teaspoons of honey, 1 egg white, and 1-3 teaspoons teaspoon of mayo..........its VERY messy but it helps dry things out. Just mix it until smooth and add more honey or mayo if desired. bc of the egg white it will somewhat harden. after your done wash your face VERY well.
Also: try mixing 1/2 a asparin with a teaspoon of lemon juice until it forms a paste then let it stay on your zit overnight. dries it right upDoes anyone have a good recipe for facial masks?
Here are few home made mask which you can try according to your convience.
a) Make a paste of masoor dal+curd+ a few drops of juice of neem leaves and apply as a mask. When dry, remove with finger tips and wash off with water. It is very effective in dealing with pimples and gives the skin a glow.
b) Make the mask with 2 tsp of sandal wood paste, 2tsp of gram flour, a pinch of camphor powder, 3 tsp of almond paste, 10 strands of saffron, the white of an egg and some milk to mix it all into a smooth paste. Apply all over the skin and leave on for 20 mins. Dab with cold milk and scrub off gently. This should be used 3 times a week.
c) Make your own facial with distilled water, 3-4 drops of rose or chamomile essential oil mix well and pour in a small spray bottle. Spray your face throughtout the day especially in an air-conditioned environment after shaking the bottle. This will refresh the face. If distilled water not available, make at home by collecting steam by boiling water and condesing the steam.
d) Try using face mask daily or weekly due to which the skin will look younger. Egg yolk, honey, banana, day old yogurt can be used as face mask.
e) Mix 1 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp of cream. Apply on face and wash it off after few minutes
