How to make my facial hair grow?

I want to grow out soul patch type beard but more like a square of dark hair that covers my chin. I am 15 and under light some kinda dark hairs are visible but not really noticeable if you don't look closely.

So are there any natural ways to make my facial hair grow faster? I don't really care on looking more mature but I just think it looks cool.

Thanks! How to make my facial hair grow?
Just Shave It Dude It will Grow thicker good luck

What is the best facial scrub out there?

I recently have had alot of acne on my cheeks, and am having the hardest ime getting rid of it. I have never had this problem before infact I have always had very clear skin (even during puberty). Anyway I am currently using nivea and it just does not seem to be working. What is the best facial scrub out there?
I love St. Ives Medicated Apricot scrub! It's only a few dollars, and it has extra acne medication (I think salicylic acid) in it to get rid of blemishes better than the regular formula.

It kept my skin clear all throughout my teenage years! :DWhat is the best facial scrub out there?
St. Ives Apricot Scrub
scrotum from sheep.
I use powdered milk and a little bit of water.
HI...I'm 35, last summer I broke out on my cheeks and t-zone like a teenager. I tried everything from Mary Kay to Avon to Dept. stores and nothing worked. Then my friend suggested Arbonne International. I used their acne like for a week and I saw improvement. Now you can't even tell I ever had any skin problems. People think I'm lying when I tell them my skin issues, until I show them pictures. Arbonne's products are pure %26amp; safe for your skin...no mineral oil, which is a big cause of breakouts. Mineral oil is a by product of gasoline and it's like putting a plastic film on your skin, it doesn't allow your skin to breathe or release toxins. I used the acne line plus a combination of a couple of their anti-aging products. I love it! They also have this thermal mask that I love b/c it makes my skin feel like a baby's bottom. Everyone is different, sounds like yours is from stress or hormones.I have that problem often though and Oil of Olay for sensitive skin is the only soap that I've used that doesn't make it worse.
St Ives scrub. It makes the TOP3 best list! See this source for why. http://www.beautyqa.com/

For acne, try proactiv. Still one of the popular ones.
I like St. Ives products. I've found that they're very gentle, but they prevent breakouts and get rid of existing acne. There are a couple different types to choose from. I've tried most of them and they've all worked pretty well. You can get them at Wal-Mart.
St Ives Apricot Scrub......works really well and is reasonably priced.....

What is the best way to take care of really dry facial skin?

Ive tried it all and it does not help....is there some kind of method or cream that can help eliminate all this dry skin i have on my face. Sometimes some of the methods just make it more noticeable, causing the dry skin to flake out. Any ideas? What is the best way to take care of really dry facial skin?
First of all you need a good cleanser for dry skin, something creamy. Then you need to exfoliate! That is the only way you are going to buff off that top dead layer of flakes. After that you need a good toner for dry skin to restore moisture. Once you've done that you need a thick, rich moisturizer for dry skin to keep the moisture in your skin all day. Stay away from products with clay, as those are meant only for oily skin and will just dry your face out more! Tonics or toners are no longer made with rubbing alcohol, they are made with denatured alcohol, which is a cosmetic alcohol that helps to restore the pH balance to your face immediately.

I use everything by Origins (http://www.origins.com) for my dry skin and I have had the best skin in years. Good luck! What is the best way to take care of really dry facial skin?
I totally know what you're going through. It's been in the single digits here and the cold weather is definitely taking it's toll on my skin. My dermatologist recommended that I use a really gentle cleanser (like Dove) to wash my face, and a moisturizing cream at night and a lighter one during the day with SPF.

Don't use any toners or astringents--that will just dry out your skin even more. And if you use any acne treatments, cut that back to using them every other day.

At night, I use Cetaphil moisturizing cream ($6 for a big container, available at any drugstore). In the morning, I use Eucerin face lotion for sensitive skin with SPF 30 (about $5 at any drugstore).

The most important thing is to limit the amount of face-drying stuff you use. And be sure to try to shield your face from any cold if that's possible.

Good luck!
Use a clay mask (get the clay powder) and mix it with cucumber, avocado and honey. Make a paste and apply on your face about 30 mins once a week. After taking the mask off, apply toner and your moisturizer.

Also, drink lots of fluids, it sounds like your skin is dehydrated.

You can find the clay at www.clayforlife.com
Common ingredients in lotions like alcohol and lanolins can worsen dry skin.

You could try using an exfoliator and a moisturizer - the exfoliator would remove the skin flakes and the moisturizer would prevent new breakouts. If you're willing to spend the money, go to a clinique counter at a department store and they will set you up with a regimen.

Try asking your pharmacist for Lac Hydrin, a moisterizer which is kept behind the counter but avaiable without a prescription.

For myself, I use Eucerin cream. Eucerin sells a bunch of beauty products, but the plain old cream is best. It feels heavy and goopy but doesn't seem to give me acne. I've found it to be the best treatment for severly dry skin.
Well l have a good answer to this question... you can go to any dept store and buy Nivea cleanser plus you can also buy cream to put on your face as well but get the Nivea light cream.. this is a light moisturizer and l use lt and lt works perfect on my face. you will be amazed how well your face softens up. lt leaves my face nice and soft and smooth. lm a 45 yr old and my skin looks like a 15 yr old. l love this cream. lm never gonna stop useing lt. lf this doesn`t start to work give lt some time cause this stuff does work
Have you tried Mary Kay? I would be happy to send you samples or you can locate a consultant in your area to sit down with you and let you try some products. It is a free service and everything 100% guaranteed.

  • What is the word where someone has both masculine and feminine facial features?

It's been bothering me and i don't remember what the word was... help? What is the word where someone has both masculine and feminine facial features?
Androgynous. What is the word where someone has both masculine and feminine facial features?
androgenous - relating to or exhibiting both female and male sex organs but with a predominantly female appearance
    It may be hermaphrodite.

How many people think facial exercises really works?

Do you think they make wrinkles better or worse? Does it help with aging or does it make it worse? Have you ever tried it and does it work for you?How many people think facial exercises really works?
I haven't tried it, but my mom has! I've noticed a difference in her face over time.. (She's been doing it for several months) It definantly makes her face look a bit tighter, but doesn't get rid of all the wrinkles. But then again, she hasn't been working at it for long. I don't think it makes aging worse...lol But I'm not an expert, keep looking into it!

What are the best facial scrubs that have a rough feeling to it?

I can't really use gentle facial srubs because, for some reason, they don't ever feel like they're working. I always get good results with rougher facial scrubs but I have a hard time finding the one I like so do you all know where I can find a more scrubbier (if that's even a word) facial scrub??What are the best facial scrubs that have a rough feeling to it?
Try using any facial wash, ones with the beads are great too, and scrub with a washcloth. Works just the same as any exfoliate.

I would also suggest st.ives as well, and if you have acne they have a medicated formula. What are the best facial scrubs that have a rough feeling to it?
once a week i using 1/4 cup milk and brown sugar. the more brown sugar you put in, the coarser the texture. it seems to work for me.:)
    um mm

well if you want to exfoliate then i would use the

    St.Ives Apricot scrub.

    i love it!!!!

    exfoliates and cleanses.

    if your interested:

u can purchase it about everywhere.

    Walgreen's has it definitely!!

    only about 4 bucks!

How often do you go to bed without washing off your facial makeup?

Do you leave it on so your partner won't see you 'sans' the makeup? Do you ever get up after going to bed, or after making love, to wash the makeup off?How often do you go to bed without washing off your facial makeup?
I never ever go to bed without washing my face!! You could wake up with pimples and it could bother ur skin and give u a rash. The way i look at it....if the guy im with thinks im unattractice without makeup, i would NOT be with him. Every girl deserves a guy that thinks she is the most beautiful thing in the world with AND without makeup. However, usually I will keep my makeup on while making love and then wash it off before we go to sleep :) hope this helpsHow often do you go to bed without washing off your facial makeup?
I always wash my face before I go to bed and when i get up in the morning ! At night I need to take off makeup and the grime of the day and feel clean and in the morning the same! My husband thinks that I am beautiful without makeup so I don't have to wear it for him I wear it for me! He actually tells me how beautiful I am first thing in the morning! Plus I am secure with myself enough not to worry about what other people think if they see me with or without make up on I am me and I am beautiful Inside and out!
I know it's horrible for your skin, but to be honest I rarely wash my face before I go to sleep. Nothing to do with my (ex) he actually preferred little to no make-up, just laziness on my part %26amp; working very late most nights. I guess I justify it b/c I use the mineral powder (you've seen the info-mercials) NOT ';Bare Minerals'; but the one Leeza Gibbons is the spokesperson for. One of their claims is that it's ';so natural %26amp; gentle you can sleep in it.'; SOLD! Lol, knock on wood, I haven't had any serious repercussions from it.
I'm a makeup consultant and you should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take off your makeup before you go to sleep. Not doing so results in premature aging, wrinkles, blemishes, etc.

Even before I was a consultant, I still always washed off my makeup. If your boyfriend doesn't like seeing you without your makeup, apparantly he's not the person that you need to be with...
wth? lol. its really silly to wear makeup to bed just bcuz you don't want your partner to see you without it.

a lot of times i go to bed w/o washing it off because i'm too lazy (and i know its horrible for your skin lol but i only wear blush soo..)
well, i never wash off my makeup before i go to bed, and it has NOTHING to do with me wanting people to see me without it or not. i just am really lazy, and have yet to expeirance the full consequences of it.
i ALWAYS wash it off when im just at home and not planning to go anywhere because it can give you acne and when you go to bed with it....ACNE and...haha...you wake up looking like a zombie O_=
I always wash my make up off before bed, even if I come home in the wee hours of the morning lol, leaving your make up on for just one night sets your skin back a week
I always wash it off. I feel disgusting if I don't. Your partner should think you're beautiful with or without make-up!
NEVER. Its very bad for your skin to sleep in makeup.
I'm totally in sync with above. I'm just too lazy to take it off. My hubby doesn't care.
i always wash it up, i don't care if my bf sees me without....!

What is a good facial moisturizer that is oil-free?

I have been using the Loreal adult acne treatment and it is drying out my skin around my eyes and nose. When I cut back and only use it once a day I get breakouts. I have always had pretty bad acne and my skin is now the clearest it has ever been. I don't want to stop using the only product I have found that works, but I do need a moisturizer that I can put on underneath my makeup so my sensitive spots won't dry out. What is a good facial moisturizer that is oil-free?
Getting a good moisturizer is a trial and error thing. But the best bet is to get an oil-free, NON-COMEDOGENIC ( so it wont clog your pores) moisturizer.

    try

Olay, Neutrogena,CliniqueWhat is a good facial moisturizer that is oil-free?
Clean%26amp;Clear Oil free matifying moisturizer. I have oily skin and this product works great for me.
C.O. Bigelow Oil-Free Face Gel is a water based moisturizer for the face that also gives a matte finish. It is very citrusy and non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic. I love it.
Alba Hawaiian Oil-free moisturizer. It's all natural and organic too.
    neutrogena
I love Phisoderm PH2O... There are mixed reviews. Check them out before buying... http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemID=61754/Moisturizers/Phisoderm/pH2O_everyday_moisturizer/
Mary Kay makes an oil-free hydrating gel that's wonderful! The gel is soooo rich, you only need a little, but it doesn't clog pores and cause pimples! Mary Kay also makes an acne treatment gel that works wonders when you feel a pimple start to grow. I'm a consultant, and I love both products. If you have a consultant, ask her about those products, and the Velocity face wash. (there's also a Velocity moisturizer - it's light weight and doesn't cause pimples either, but the oil free gel gives more moisture) any questions feel free to e-mail me!

    abslu@marykay.com

    Good luck!
Vitamin E moisturizer from The Body Shop has been really helpful with my oily/adult acne prone skin. The more natural the better.
I like to use olay, neutrogena, clean and clear dual action moisturizer.

i use oil of olay oil free moisturizer. i have acne prone skin and i've never had a problem..and i do wear it under makeup. and it's like 8 dollars.
I have used Clinique dramatically different for years, its the best
well it's really for all over but curell for extra dry skin that works really good!
I like Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
Depending on your age and how well you have cared for your skin in the area of moisturizing, I would recommend the basic Oll of Olay moisturizer (which, unlike it's name, is not oily)-it goes on like silk and your skin will drink it up and feel like rose petals, or either the Olay line now developed for maturing skin such as total effects or regenerist. I do highly recommend that you not use your acne treatment around your eyes. You may not notice it now, but it will damage the very delicate area around your eyes and your skin will end up looking like crepe paper which is not good!!.

Does anyone know if you can store facial cold cream in the refrigerator?

I bought some cold cream for my face and when I opened the jar you can see the oils (whatever oils they use) seperating from the cream. The reason I ask is because where I live it has been really really really hot.Does anyone know if you can store facial cold cream in the refrigerator?
there is no reason that it would hurt the cream by storing it in the fridge. before you do though, make sure to mix it with your finger. and for future purchases it is best to buy oil free moisturizers.Does anyone know if you can store facial cold cream in the refrigerator?
there should be a number on the container to the company or a website check it on there. otherwise just stick it in a cool place like a closet.
Don't put it in the refrigerator unless they say to do that on the package--it may gel up and go bad.

Try putting it in a dark closet or put it in a bag and put it in the back of the toilet (this will keep it cool but not cold).

  • Can a root canal ever cause permanent facial swelling?

I seem to have thickening on and inside the cheek where I had a root canal done years ago. I don't know if it was always like that, or if the root canal caused it. What do you think, and on what do you base your opinion? Can a root canal ever cause permanent facial swelling?
As a dental professional, I would urge you to see your dentist to have that checked. It is unlikely to be related to the root canal if the thickening/swelling is on the cheek. If it was the root canaled tooth, then the gum tissue above the tooth would be involved. Go see your dentist. Can a root canal ever cause permanent facial swelling?

    Some Tips

    http://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1713.鈥?/a>
Go get a professional one, take notes, carry on. I get them every 3 weeks, better when someone else does it. You relax for 60 minutes, nothing better.
    PRE-FACIAL:

The secret to having a great home facial is time. Set aside a few hours in the afternoon and make sure you鈥檝e got everything you need鈥?br>

    - your favourite CD

    - a few scented candles

    - a good mirror

    - a bowl filled with hot water

    - your favourite scented oil

    - a towel

    - cleanser

    - exfoliant

    - face mask

    - moisturiser

    Step 1:

Recreate that calming beauty salon atmosphere with some soothing music, and a few scented candles. Make sure you鈥檝e got a comfy chair to sit in, some fluffy towels and have a mirror on hand for those 鈥榗lose up鈥?moments.

    Step 2:

Thoroughly cleanse your face using your regular cleanser, making sure to remove every last bit of make-up from your face and neck area.

    Step 3:

Fill a bowl with hot water and add a few drops of your favourite essential oil. Place a towel over your head and feel your face relax as the steam opens up those pores. If the steam starts to feel a bit uncomfortable, make a gap in the towel and let some cool air in. A scaled face is not the sort of look you want from a facial!

    Step 4:

Pat your face dry and use a gentle exfoliating scrub to remove the layer of dry skin cells that are hiding that fresh skin! We love Clean%26amp;Clear Exfoliating Renewal Scrub, which contains gentle MicroBeads that work to clear away dead skin and surface build-up. Get the best out of your exfoliant by massaging the beads gently into your face with your fingers. Use a clockwise circular motion and only do small sections at a time so you get rid of every last bit of skin build up.

    Step 5:

The next step is to get yourself looking like a real alien by applying a face mask. There are a lot of different types of face mask on the market, but a deep cleansing mask like Clean%26amp;Clear鈥檚 Deep Action Cleansing Mask will get right into your pores. The Deep Action mask is easy to use because it changes colour as it cleans your skin 鈥?just remove it when it turns white!

    Step 6:

Now your skin has had a basic clean, a steam, a scrub and a deep clean, it鈥檚 time to freshen up that new layer of skin with some moisturiser. Try to avoid tinted moisturisers straight after a facial 鈥?you want to put a good layer of moisture onto your skin. Clean%26amp;Clear Skin-Balancing Moisturiser is absorbed quickly into your skin and will leave it feeling soft and smooth. Neutrogena Moisture is also a great moisturiser, especially for post-facial and sensitive skin. Not only will it give you plenty of moisture without leaving your skin greasy, it also helps minimise the appearance of tiny lines!

    POST FACIAL:

You鈥檒l be feeling very relaxed and pampered post-facial, so don鈥檛 go rushing off on that hot date just yet. If you cleanse you skin then reapply make-up straight afterwards you鈥檒l undo all that great work! Sit back and relax with your favourite book so your skin has a few hours to breathe鈥hen you can put some make up on.

At what age girls can start using facial products?

At what age exactly that is already safe to use products for the face for all skin types?

I'm 16 and my mom always telling me whenever I put skin care products in my face that it will ruin or damage my skin because my face is still 'young' and they're not safe to use yet.

I know she's only concern about me but I wanna know the age range for safer usage.

Thanks a lot!!At what age girls can start using facial products?
Im a medical Aesthetician and i advise all my clients, especially teenagers to start taking care of their skin as early as possible, mainly around the age of 12 getting someone started early with skincare can help the skin down the line. Just start off with something customized to your own skin, because EVERYBODY has different skin, id recommend going to see your local Aesthetician or dermetologist to get your skin examined. At what age girls can start using facial products?
Your absoluteley fine that it just and old wives tale as long as you get the right product for your skin type or problem it wont harm you and even if you dont it wont make any difference
your mother is so right u r still to young if u wear make up than only use eye Shadow and mascara leave the foundation off as this will clog your pours as far as cleaning your your face use a very light cleanser an organic on so every thing is natural
I'm sure your fine using them now.

If you shave before you start growing facial hair what happens?

do you get facial hair faster? If you shave before you start growing facial hair what happens?
You don't get facial hair faster or thicker. Your hair is not a plant. You do get some practice in ;)If you shave before you start growing facial hair what happens?
Not a lot will happen except the risk that you might cut yourself !!

Although you may think there is no facial hair there , the probability is the is a bit of fluffy hair so you could shave that off.

However your ability to grow facial hair will not be affected one way or another by shaving early .
nothin happens brother... doesnt help one bit... wen i was 12 yrs old i wanted beard and i did exaclty that// dint help.. .. then i quit..and it started growin on its own wen i was 15..
You waste your time. It has no effect on hair growth.
So you say your growing no facial hair but you want to shave so what would you shave if you have no hair?
    rough skin
Your sperm goes clear and it fills with bubbles Dude!
    Possibly a face rash
    no

    nothing would happen

Is it safe to use an acne facial cleanser if the date is expired?

I just bought some St. Ives apricot scrub for acne and blemish control. I didn't notice until I got home that the expiration date had 04/2008. Should I return it or is it still safe to use? I think I'm gonna return it but I need some opinions. I tried to contact st. Ives but I could not find a company number. Thanks! Is it safe to use an acne facial cleanser if the date is expired?
no! dont use it! return it to the store and let a manager know that they are selling expired products on their shelf. also go onto the st. ives website and write a comment to the headquarters letting them know the situation. they need to know that the stores are potentially selling expired products...not good! you might even get a free bottle out of it! but no, dont use it. the key active ingredients in it will be expired and not healthy for your skin at all. would you eat expired food? so why would you put expired products on your face? :)Is it safe to use an acne facial cleanser if the date is expired?
go return it. i honestly havent tried using an expired face wash and i dont know of anyone who has because it doesnt sound safe. your face is the most important part of your body, treat it well. things have expiration dates for a reason. (:

With parental consent you can be just about any age except if the piercer feels you are to young they won't pierce you. Without parental consent you have to be 18 or in some places 16. There is no state law, you just have to have a parent available to sign papers. You can get any piercing done with a parent present. Good luck =] Report Abuse

What do they do during a facial at a spa to remove blackheads?

I have a lot of blackheads, some aer geting quite big and leaving scars. I want to get rid of them so my face stops breaking out. I used glycolic acid and a cream with retinol in it previously which helped to make the pores smaller, but without removing the debris I guess it will never clear. I was also told I need glycolic peels.. would that virtually do thae same thing that a facial at the spa would do?What do they do during a facial at a spa to remove blackheads?
Unfortuately, glycolic acid and retinol have absolutely no effect on blackheads. To penetrate the oil in a pore, you must use a product with salicylic acid (also called BHA). It is the only way to break up oil inside a pore. Use a gentle cleanser and apply the lotion. If you are patient and disciplined, you will see a real difference within a week and it will just keep getting better. For breakouts, a 5% benzoyl peroxide lotion will dry them effectively. Good luck! What do they do during a facial at a spa to remove blackheads?
they legit extract them w/ like a hook or pin or something.
they use the method extraction used half way through a facial but you can do it yourself and save money. cleanse your skin twice using the right cleanser for your skin type, tone, exfoilate..and if you have a facial steamer use for 5-10mins as it will open the pores and make the blackhead easier do. with tissue wrapped round your 2 index fingers place either side of the blackhead and just move up and down the blackhead will come out in no time.

    hope it helps
It's called extractons. They use a tool and a light to see where they are. I promise it doesn't hurt bc your skin has something on it, like liquid wise. It just kinda pokes you. It feals weird. I just got this done a couple weeks ago. :)

How can I get rid of facial and body hair?

I'm a young man, and I absolutely hate facial and body hair. I'd like to get my chest waxed, but wonder what I could do (short of electrolysis) to make my facial hair come back more infrequently. Please let me know,How can I get rid of facial and body hair?
Johnson's %26amp; Johnson's has a hair minimalist. Its just like an ordinary lotion but you put it where you don't want to shave often. Its probably half or a quarter of the strength of hair removal.

    **EDIT**

It should be, all their lotions are pretty safe. They don't contain harsh chemicals.

What are some ways to unclog facial pores?

My pores are very large, and always clogged. No matter what I do, they stay huge and clogged. It's particularly bad on my nose and the upper parts of my cheeks.

I wash my face twice a day, keep my skin well-moisturized, use an apricot scrub every other day, and a clay mask once a week.

I have tried just about every product out there, and nothing seems to work.

What are some good at-home techniques for unclogging facial pores? What are some ways to unclog facial pores?
Steam works very well for me. I just wave the steam from over the pasta pot when I'm cooking, or heat a pot of water, put a towel over my head and my face over the steam. Be VERY careful not to burn yourself. If you don't mind wasting the eggs, a very wonderful home remedy which will also smooth out those pores is beaten egg yolk. Put it on your clean face, leave it for 10 minutes, then rinse it off. Don't get it near your eyes, nostrils or mouth, though because the eggs are raw. Do this every day for a week and then two or three times a week after that. What are some ways to unclog facial pores?
you can actually unclog your pores using steam. like for example, when you get out of the shower, just stay in there for 5 minutes longer and let the steam get to your pores.

other than that, everything you are doing seems great. just continue doing that, and if you wear makeup, make sure it says ';non comedogenic'; on the back, because that means it will not clog pores.
I have the same problem, this is how I solved it.

Get Two wash cloths and one towel. Soak one wash cloth in HOT water and the other in COLD water

Turn the sink on with running HOT HOT HOT water.

Put your face down to the heat. NOT THE WATER, cause, its HOT.

Put a towel over your head so the heat from the water is trapped in the sink and heating up your face. This opens your pores.

Stay there for about 2-3 minutes.

Then remove your face from the heat, using a clean wash cloth with hot water on it, wash your face with the cloth (and just hot water no soap)

As soon as you've washed with the hot cloth use the wash cloth with cold water and put that on your face. That closes the pores.

My skin cleared up in a week.

    Good Times and good luck
    Two things:

Fill the basin with very hot water and lean over it (carefully) with a clean face and cover your head and the basin head with a large towel to keep steam in. We did this as teens, and it worked! Once finished, scrub again and use an astringent.

Do you use an astringent like SeaBreeze? Its the first thing I do before my moisturizer twice a day.

2nd, Sally Hansen (I think) has a wonderful 'blackhead' remover tool about $10 at the drugstore. You have to get the hang of it, but once you do its real easy to use. Pops them right out. (Yuck)
Open pores then clean then close pores

1- warm water thats more to Hot water is good for opening pores.

2- clean after washing with warm-hot water

(best products are Dead sea products like the Mudd)

3- Close pores with COLD water

    feel fresh
you can steam them by placing a hot towel on your face for five minutes. you can also use a special mask specially made to do this.

  • What is the best way to get rid of a double chin and facial fat?

I am guessing diet and just losing weight all around is the way to go, but I am just wondering if there is any more to it.

I am not really overweight anywhere else on my body but in the past 2 years I have started to notice my face is looking fat and I have a double chin. I am planning on dieting for a long while in the hopes that that is all I need, but any insight otherwise would be greatly appreciated. What is the best way to get rid of a double chin and facial fat?
You cannot spot reduce. Instead, you need to lose weight in general. Start by changing your eating habits, and then start moving to burn some calories. Incorporate lean meats and more fruits and vegetables. Fill up on things such as almonds, and walnuts, which contain omega-3's. You can also get that from fish as well.

Basically, you need to lose weight in general. However, many people notice once they start losing weight, that they lose weight in the face first. Good luck. What is the best way to get rid of a double chin and facial fat?
Tilt head back look up to the ceiling open and shut mouth for as long as you can do it. Hope that helps.
RUNNING should do the trick. try eating more fruits and veggies and cut down on the junk food.
There are also some chin exercises that can help, or If you are really desperate you could get a mentoplasty (chin surgery).

The best way I have found to lose a double chin is to use the velform chin wrap. It uses a reducer gel made of mosqueta oil and extract of gotu kola, which is an herb often used in Chinese medicine. This is the easiest and best method I've found.

If you want more info I did a squidoo lens on the topic which you can find here:

What can I use to treat an irritation in my English Bulldog's facial folds?

I have a 10mos. old English Bulldog and he has developed a moist skin irritation and/or minor yeast infection in the facial fold under one of his eyes. This problem is quite common among the breed. I wanted to find out if anyone knows what type of ointment or solution can temporarily be used to treat it until I take him to the vet next weekend? Thanks for your opinions. What can I use to treat an irritation in my English Bulldog's facial folds?
Peace on Earth has already given you the correct answer:

as a groomer this is the response I have been trained to give many owners with this same question,

    ';English Bulldogs are prone to developing yeast infections within the folds of their face, for this reason owners should prevent the bacteria build-up by wiping out the folds via the use of a warm, damp cloth daily. When signs of an irritation or possible infection occur, continue to clean the folds out in the same manner so long as it does not cause the dog any obvious discomfort, and of course speak to your vet about these types of concerns as soon as they arrive to avoid any major skin irritation.';

You are a step above most of the owners I've already spoken to about this as you already are aware that this is a common problem and you know to take your dog to the vet for it. Many owners I've known will wait until the skin within the folds of their dog's face will be completely raw and infected, then the owner brings the dog to the groomer to be cleaned expecting that the smell from between the folds will magically vanish after a bath, of course by this point the groomer can only refer the owner to a vet because the skin irritation has become a major medical problem.

Good on you for researching your dog's specific care requirements and loving him enough to seek proper medical care, you are a step above many others on this forum! What can I use to treat an irritation in my English Bulldog's facial folds?
Wipe the folds with a cloth dipped in witch hazel, dry well ( with a hair dryer set on low,if the dog will allow it),then apply an athlete's foot powder or a yeast infection cream with Miconanzole Nitrate 2%. Do it two or three times a day. This should clear it up if it is caused by yeast.Oh,and before anyone gives me thumbs down,my vet told me about this, and it works!
I have a bulldog that is 9 months old. I have had a similar problem on his side (where no wrinkles appear). I used an old Polish home remedy of beer and onion juice. A 12 oz can or bottle of beer (lager works best and is cheaper) and the juice of one large onion (white works best). Warm it up over medium heat until it just starts to boil. Let it cool a bit until it is still warm to the touch. Dip a wash cloth in it - to where it is soaked but not dripping all over the place and apply to the infected area. Do this 3 times a day and it should clear up in a few days. It has something to do with the chemistry between the beer and the onion. Don't drink the left overs because it tastes weird. The low amount of alcohol in the beer won't mess up the dog.
If he allows you, just wipe out the folds gently with a damp cloth. If not, try to give him a bath and wait it out until you can see the vet.

I take my bulldog to the groomers where they do a decent job with her folds.
i always have some Canesten cream at home(in the fridge) its a cream that's sold without prescription for women's yeast infection.Try some on your dogs face.If its itchy, he will be rubbing his face or scratch it with his paws.may get it infected.another cream that is good for fungi:nizoral

check the pharmacy,I'm not sure if that is without prescription?

How can I recover quicker from facial extractions?

My face is really red, painful to the touch, and inflamed. What helps? How can I recover quicker from facial extractions?
Aloe vera, and a cool gel pack. Other than that don't touch it, leave it alone as much as possible. If your facialist left you inflamed and in pain she didn't do the extractions correctly. Appropriate protocol for extractions is to steam the face for ten minutes, and apply gentle pressure with gloved fingers (and to use a sterile lancet) for no more than ten minutes after the finished steam, than astringent should be applied. If it leaves you in pain it was done wrong, and could be potentially damaging to the skin, don't go back to that place. How can I recover quicker from facial extractions?

Bleach it. I use this stuff called ';Jolen';. Its way better then shaving because shaving makes it grow back thicker and darker. (Believe me, I know from experiance..) So either bleach it, or lazer it. Report Abuse

    wax
you can pluck, wax, theres all kinds of strips, and theres a facial hair shaver but i dont know which of these works
Laser procedures are now available to permanently remove facial hairs.

If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.

Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.

And if you have some bucks, Lifecell anti wrinkle cream would be a good choice. You can have more information here.

  • How do you get rid of facial hair on a woman?

What is a good, sensitive, low cost way to get rid of facial hair on a woman? Also, what product is best for facial hair on women, like wax strips and things like that?! So I prefer waxing or something else other than creams or lotions! Thanks!!How do you get rid of facial hair on a woman?
For low cost, waxing is your best solution. If you keep up with it on a regular basis the hair will gradually stop growing because you continually weaken the hair root which eventually makes it not grow anymore. What causes a woman to have facial hair?

Is it normal? What is an easy inexpensive way for a woman to get rid of it, if they can? If it is normal (which I heard), then why do so few woman have a problem with it? I guess I can ask the same thing for chest and back hair? What causes a woman to have facial hair?
Some women are more prone to increased facial hair than others usually contributing to hormonal balance. With age, change in hormonal balance can increase the appearance of darker or coarser facial hair compared to when one was younger with finer and lighter hair coloring.

Hormone levels are the biggest contributing factors to any body hair overall. The simplest way for women to remove facial hair is through an over the counter facial hair wax removal kit.

American women are more likely to ';perceive'; a greater annoyance with facial hair and most likely will deal with it as it is our society's standards to be smooth body and little or no hair ALL over. American men seem to be of the same vanity with body hair as well. Especially, if they are fitness buffs who want to accentuate the clean lines of their defined muscle build.

    What's abnormal

The disorder in which excessive hair growth is stimulated by androgenesis is called hirsutism. Hirsutism can be accompanied by other changes, such as balding, deepening of the voice and cessation of menstruation. In other words, excessive hair growth is usually not the only symptom of a true medical disorder.

Most hirsutism is caused by overproduction of androgens from one of the two natural sources of androgens in women: the ovary or the adrenal gland.

The most common condition associated with excessive androgen production is called polycystic ovarian disease

    Treatments

With PCO, or when the cause is elusive, birth control pills can be used to limit hair growth. The birth control pill works by rendering some of the circulating androgen inactive. Adrenal hyperplasia is treated with a different hormonal antidote.

For women with minimal facial hair, there are a number of options, but all have drawbacks. Temporary solutions such as shaving and depilatories can irritate skin. Electrolysis is costly and uncomfortable, but it does yield results. Laser therapy is similarly costly, and it should be used with caution by women with dark skin, since permanent skin blotching can occur.

The most encouraging development is a cream called VaniquWhat causes a woman to have facial hair?
Some say genes, but I disagree. My Mother had facial hair, her 6 sisters didn't, nor her Mom. I believe it is the amount of testosterone in a female. I have everything both my parents had, Dad's boils, ear hair, dark skin. Mom's cysts, facial hair, etc. A small amount is normal, mine is beyond that, but I've seen worse. Only laser treatments totally eliminate a hair. I had 8 treatments in the past, it worked, but not cheap. Some women will lose the hair after menopause, mine increased. Cheapest is plucking or waxing, neither gets rid of it forever.
it could be genes or hormones, usually during pregnancy woman's hair grow thicker and more often, personally I don't like 2 shave as 4 me it will grow back very thick and fast u can tell that that I have very full strong hair..:P so all the hair from my skin will grow strong, and as it is dark brown also the other hairs will be similar color..:p not that dark but still

anyways I would suggest waxing, if u wax it long enough then the hair will grow back thinner and thinner although there is a problem with waxing face as the skin is more sensitive usually they do a cold wax which can irritate the face and make produce under skin zits at the roots of the hair so pls seek help of a cosmetician

also u could try leaser treatment, of which be aware not always affective and are a lil expensive, it depends on ur body and how it heals itself

if u use special hair killing creams be aware that if u have big pore u can infect them and they will turn a lil purplish depends on the person I guess

On the other areas then face I would recommend waxing, it can hurt a lil especially if ur sensitive 2 it but it also depends on how good the cosmetician or waxer..:P works, ask other ladies if they could recommend a good wax salon where they work good

    hope everything goes well
Yes its sort of normal however what really matters is the thickness and the colour. There are many treatments available however they sometimes cause pigmentation. Laser Hair Removal Treatment is the only way to get hair be gone for a long period of time however this is more on the expensive side.

DON'T SHAVE if anything get the hair waxed by a professional and seek medical advice.

    Good Luck
The answer to this is genes! This is something that probably runs in your family. Do any of your aunts, mom, etc have this? If they do than that would definitely be it.
you are a mammal mammals have hair

wax it more you wax more you destroy the hair follicles

no it doesnt grow back thicker that is an old wives tale

one facial that i do like every three days is a egg wash

it tightens up your skin, keeps it super soft, and leaves it feeling very refreshed and clean

all you have to do it take one egg seperate the egg whites from the yolk and gently whip the egg whites until you see tiny bubbles

next apply the egg whites to your face and leave it on till it dries up ( at this point you will not be able to move your face)

next wash your face with luke warm water

the last step is to apply the egg yolk to your face...this is some what of a moisturizer..wash it off after 5 minutes

i promise you will have soft, clean skin

after you do this you would instantly notice the glow on your face

Just stick with the sunglasses, it's fine.

And if you have bright colored eyes (green, blue, hazel) then you should be more concerned. but don't even sweat it if you have brown or black eyes.

If you鈥檙e looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Hydrogen peroxide works awesome foe me. I used to have teribble acne, now I just put some on a piece of toilet paper or cottonball and yea you got the idea. We cheaper and healthier for your skin then going to a dermatoligist.
Do not rub your face. Pat it when drying and do not touch it unless you have washed your hands with hot soapy water. Acne is caused by bacteria and spreading it is the cause of it getting so bad. Always use a clean pillowcase. Use witch Hazel to clean and use one cotton ball for each pimple and throw it away. You can use an antibiotic ointment and q-tips at night. Also hot packs with hot saltwater and peroxide during times that you are home, just lay the pack on the face and rest while it is drawing out the impurities. You may want to try using apple cider vinegar to rinse your face once a day. then pat clean. Which ever combination seems to work for you, use it. then remember to keep your hands clean and do not rub, pat the skin dry. good luck.
    drink plenty of water

wash your face in cold water i find that helped me.

change your diet ie: no chocolate, dairy things like that.

fresh air i heard ones helps your face i think the saying is the sea air!

if its too bad though a doctor will refer you to a dermatologist.

also if you go to your pharmacy you can get witch hazel, face washes things like that
was you face daily and then you have to lay off the junk fook
theres no solid proff its linked to diet although eating crap wont help,

Tea tree oil is a natrual antibacterial. get some anti biotics from the doctor tho.

How do you get rid of facial hair when skin is too sensitive?

i tried hair removal cream, but it gave me burns and marks. i know waxing will be worse since my skin is sensitive. but i hate this facial hair. is there any other home remedy to get rid of it?How do you get rid of facial hair when skin is too sensitive?
There are waxes with chamomile in them or Azulene that is made for sensitive skin. If you don't want to go to the salon, you can make your own wax (it's called ';sugaring';) it's made out of lemon juice (for antibacterial), water, and sugar and you make it into a pancake syrup consistency and then use a wax strip to get it off. It's suppose to work very well for sensitive skin. You can find recipes for sugaring online. Also, this is good because it's water soluble so it's an easy clean up =) good luck! How do you get rid of facial hair when skin is too sensitive?
I pluck the ones that seem too coarse or dark for my skin. We all naturally have hair everywhere, but occasionally we will get these long or dark hairs that really shouldn't be there.

I saw this product where you can ';buff'; the hair away (I wish I remembered what it was called), but with sensitive skin you will probably still have the same issue.
You can use Revitol hair removal cream. It is much cheaper than laser or other hair removal aids.

    I have the same problem.

I used to thread (it's like plucking) my face but it broke out like crazy. So I only do my upper lip and eyebrows.

    Good luck though!

I just looking for a new facial line to use. Thank you. What is the best cleanser and facial creams out there?
Most lines from expensive to inexpensive are good lines. It's a matter of personal choice. I've used them all %26amp; I've spent thousands of dollars in my search. The most expensive brands aren't any better. Just make sure they're right for your skin type. Right now I use Dove foaming facial cleanser %26amp; the energy glow cleanser. I like them b/c they smell good %26amp; I like the foaming action. I use Alpha-hydrox religiously twice daily, Oil of Olay moisturizer during the day, %26amp; Avon Anew Line %26amp; Wrinkle Corrector at night, it makes your skin feel so smooth. Also always use sunscreen %26amp; never tan. I'm 39 %26amp; my skin is flawless %26amp; I don't have a line or wrinkle on my face. Good luck, remember you don't have to spend major bucks to look good, just make sure you take care of your skin %26amp; use the right products for your skin type. What is the best cleanser and facial creams out there?
No dear, you don't need to make anyone or any company rich off of some bs hype that they try to sell you. I will never purchase a high dollor cleanser or anti-aging system again, even if I do get rich. I can't see wasting money. I'd rather invest that money into my or my children's education. Noxzema Triple Clean Antibacterial Lathering Cleanser
see if you know someone who is an arbonne rep. the Intelligence line cleanser and moisturizer is great. they have a ph based toner that makes my skin dewey and so smooth.
My mother used Ponds, so from time to time I use ponds. It's a little greasy but is inexpensive, does the job well, does lubricate the skin and smells great.

Avon occasionally has some great liquid cleansers, but I'm sure Bonnie Belle and Almay would too....go to some place like Walgreens and spend some time testing them and seeing if you like the fragrance.
Have you tried CLEAN n CLEAR ADVANTAGE? it works great

How do you soften and bleach facial hair as it grows back in?

I got into the habit of plucking my chin hair after I saw a woman with a beard. i have a similar problem. you see, my upper lip hair is quite dark and i used to shave it. now i use sally hansen creme hair facial bleach. [i buy it at target] it takes eight minutes, doesn't hurt unless your skin is dry, and i use it about every three weeks. How do you soften and bleach facial hair as it grows back in?
well; you can go to target or a local store and pick up some face-hair-bleach,

you mix it up and leave it on for like five minutes then wash it off and you'll be good to go!

How often should one use a facial scrub and musk?

Should they be used together? What natural products could be used as an alternative to the ones you buy at the pharmacy? How often should one use a facial scrub and musk?
I use a mask once a week...usually on a weekend. Masks, the ones you buy in a cosmetics shop can tend to dry out the skin, so use should be limited. However, homemade masks may be better. Facial scrubs, depending on the type, typically are recommended for daily use on the tube. But I still tend to limit use to about once every 2 weeks or so, because the skin is sensitive and all that scrubbing cannot be good for it. Cucumber masks are great for freshening the skin. Puree a cucumber and make a paste and apply it. Let it dry. It is fabulous. Oatmeal and honey masks are good too.How often should one use a facial scrub and musk?
depending on your skin type, but usually once a week and if you do the the same day scrub first. as for a natural product try thalgo thats a good skin range
i use a scrub every other day.i don't wear musk,or do you mean MASK? I do a mask once a week.I'm not sure of natural ones, google natural products for skin care,it should help
I use a facial scrub every morning in the shower.

I try to stay away from the musk as the smell is a little much!
they can be used together , the mask should follow the scrub ,

here's a natural alternative that can be found in the pharmacies

    http://www.lifesvigor.com/shopexd.asp?id鈥?/a>
you should only use a facial scrub once or twice a week, depending on your skin type.
I think that once a month is good enough to maintain a healthy complexion. I am not a skin care professional nor am I a dermathologist, however, I know for a fact that too much exfoliants in your skin may lead to premature aging and wrinkles.

So yes, once a month should be good enough.
Once or twice a week should be sufficient.Use the scrub first. After that follow this routine

    Cleanse

Use water-soluble emulsions (creams) or gels with tepid (not hot) water or wipe- off lotions. If your skin is oily. use pH-balanced soap-free bars. Splash your face with water - it will instantly give your skin a better tone.

    Tone

If you want to tone, buy alcohol-free toner or use rosewater to freshen your skin. If your skin is dry and you have been using toner. Stop and it will instantly improve.

    Moisturize

Ideally, use water-based creams and emulsions; if your skin frequently breaks lighter, oil-free moisturizer.

    Exfoliate

Do this once a week only. Too much buffing will over stimulate and irritate your skin. Fine-grained exfoliators remove dead skin cells and instantly soften your skin.

    Mask

Simple mud and clay based mask are messy but are the most effective. Rich cold creams make a good mask for dry as well as sun - exposed skin : smother your skin with the cream, let the skin absorb as much of the cream as possible and wipe-off the excess with a soft tissue.
    NO MUSK!!! YUK!!!

as for the facial scrub -- you can use it as you feel you want to.

I use it about 2x per week.
i use it once every week...n it turns out just fine for me........
Use it once a week , it's the best for not exhausting ur skin..

On the other hand , There are some scrubs for daily use, like this daily scrub from Neutrogina..

Want a mast from Nature product ?

since U didn't mention Ur skin type, this one is almost useful for all skin types.. it's hydrating:

get 1 cup of yougort+ 1 chopped cucomber ( into circles) %26amp; wear them on ur face for 20 minutes.. then rinse
Once or twice a week is good.
its up to your skin type, but twice a month is good

How I can get rid of facial hair above my upper lip?

I am really annoyed with my upper lip facial hair. I tried bleaching it and it didn't work. And I just tried using hair removal cream, does it grow back thicker and darker though? I have heard that plucking it stops it from growing, is that true? If I get laser surgery, is it guaranteed to stop growing? Please help!!How I can get rid of facial hair above my upper lip?
Laser is permanent but you have to be a good candidate and you have to make sure you go to someone good. I had laser procedures done 7 years ago and the hair is still gone. Stay away from home systems as I have been told by experienced people that they do not work.

The site http://www.HairREmovalForum.com has more info and a directory of qualifed providers who have received positive surveys from previous customers. How I can get rid of facial hair above my upper lip?
the hair above you upper lip is can be covered with a hat. The hair on you lip can be shaved
Waxing is the best most effective way to do it. Plucking it would take to long depending on how much upper lip hair you have.
lazer surgery is a bit extreme and hair removal creams dont always work. waxing would be painful!!

Just shave it off very carefully!!!
    I shave every morning.
Electrolysis, or laser will remove it permanently.
laser hair removal trust me you will never have to shave again check out this website
It will never stay away forever. It always grows back, but your best bet is to get it waxed at a salon. It is actually very common. Alot of people have upper lip facial hair. If you find a salon you like, you'll probably have to have it waxed once a month, but when they wax it, it will be so smooth, you'll never even notice you had hair there in the first place.
shave them. most of the men do the same.
I'm a fella and I pluck ! It does come back but not as thick or as stubbly. Look at guys who have shaved all their lives: stubble and 12-0-clock shadow etc. it only hurts the first few times and after that it is merely bumfluff with no real roots.
I have found that getting your upper lip waxed is the best way to get rid of the hair.... you can get electrolysis 4-6 sessions will kill the hair follicle on your lip forever but it may cost you allot?
Shaving leaves the blunt tip of a hair at the skin's surface. It's what guys call their 5 o'clock shadow. These hairs irritate and can become infected. Waxing removes the entire hair shaft at the root. A new hair has to grow back in it's place but they're thinner hairs, not the blunt tip of a thickened hairshaft that's already there. Sure you'll probably have to go and get it done every two weeks or so but it's better than shaving and not everyone can afford that lazer thing. Good luck!
Don't pluck it, this could result in an ingrown hair. Suck your top lip in and shave it off.
laser surgery if you have brown or black hair would work and it is permanent. Otherwise you might have to get used to waxing every so often.
    Try getting it waxed ♥
ouch. plucking would really hurt %26amp; im pretty sure it would grow back. You could try waxing it - most drugstores sell ready to use wax strips %26amp; theyre really easy to use. Laser surgery is the only way to guarantee it wont grow back as it damages the follicle so it's impossibe for hair to grow. It will cost you though.
    wax.
Laser Hair Removal would be the best way to go. (For most people stops the growth)

(have you tried waxing it?, in the meantime)
Laser surgery is the only permanent removal that I know of. If you pluck they will grow back. Waxing lasts longer but can be painful and you have to do it hours ahead as it will leave your upper lip area very red.
Find a saloon that does threading, its very effective. Which place do you live in.
don't use cream it is the same as shaving... wax wax wax!!!! takes hair out from root.. hair is never permanantly removed just wax it. i am an expert believe me people come to me to get hair removed all the time

  • How to Get rid of unwanted facial hair?

I have a sort of mustach and a sort of unibrow, like a few stray hairs. I whanted to know the best way to get rid of them, and also how to ask my mom if i can get rid of them. How to Get rid of unwanted facial hair?
    King Charles I, awaiting execution, developed a nasty cough. Sympathetic, his executrioner told him : ';I'll soon cure that hacking cough. With a kindly blow, your head will come off';

Would the same method solve the facial hair dilemma?

    Or would waxing be OK?

';Mum, may I use wax to get rid of this unwanted hair, please?'; would be a method of asking your Mother.

I earnestly hope that I have been helpful. How to Get rid of unwanted facial hair?
    Try Laser hair removal...

Laser hair removal systems use laser light 鈥?an intense, pulsating beam of light 鈥?to remove unwanted hair. Whether it's on your face, arms, legs or other areas, laser hair removal may be an option if you seek long-term results. I tried it and it totally works :)

It may take 1-2 years of treatment, depending on the type of hair, some hair types are more stubborn then other's... no matter what- it's all worth it.

Here's a website- for you to learn more about Laser hair removal.

    http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/HQ/00981.html

    Good Luck!
do NOT shave it .. it'll just grow back worse

if you want to just conceal the hair on your upper lip then try bleaching it, waxing it or using hair removal cream

for your eyebrows use a pair of tweezers to pluck the stray hairs out or wax it depending on how much you have.
hey...are u a girl? IF YOU ARE ASK YOUR MOM say ';mom i have a mustace growing. is there any way i can get rid of it?u know nobody has mustaces in my class'; . if your a boy its easier...tell your mom ';hey mom i think i have a mustace..can we go stop buy the store and pick up shaving cream and a razor?'; hope this helps
well are you a girl or a guy lol?

if ur a guy then shave ur moustache and wax ur unibrow, and if ur a girl DO NOT shave just wax,,or use facial removing creams but then it might grow back thicker...and to ask ur mom..well i would just come out and tell her it makes you feel embarassed
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not shave. How can people aswer this so stupidly?????

A few options: Waxing, electrolsis, laser light

that is the only options available, be straight up with your mum she may not know how you feel.

Let me know how you go please.

    Good luck.

    Minny :-)
you could pluck (semi-painful), wax (ouch) or use a hair removal cream

i like the removal cream, i use it on my armpits when i go to camp haha, it is painless and works pretty well

and just ask ur mom straight up. a ton of women have to deal with it. she will understand
If u r looking for a permanent solution look into lazor hair removal. In the long run, it is the best solution. When u r using all sorts of creams and other ways to remove hair from the face, it can cause scaring. Use those products with caution. Let ur mom know how much this bothers u. Good Luck
Waxing is the best way to go. All of the hairs are gone and you don't have to do it as often as other things. I've had my eyebrows waxed and it didn't really hurt but I don't know about a mustache. I can't imagine it would be too painful. Hope this helped!
Hey.. for the unibrow pluck it!! i have the same prob and now i habe two brows not one .. also DONT USE HAIR REMOVAL CREAM ON YOUR MASTACHE! . i did and i had a red, painful rash there for a bout a week. just leave it unles sits real bad.
I would tweeze, wax or pluck ... depending on how much there was to remove. If you tell your mother how much the excess hair bothers you, I can't imagine that she wouldn't approve of your removing it. I certainly would if it were my child.
Put it in the bin or down the toilet.

You could write the question down on a piece of paper, place the paper in an envelope. Address the envelope to your mom, and send it to her in the mail.

    Good luck
go to walmart or some store like that and bleach the hair becasue if you wax it it will just some back thicker and darker and that would just be more unwanted.. but you have to keep dyeing it
Are you male or female??? If you;re a female, I would definitely go he wax route (or plucking)...there's only one thing that looks worse than a woman with lotsa facial hair...and that's a woman with lotsa stubbly regrowth lol ;-)
    Don't use a razor!

Waxing is the best option for the upper lip hair.

Try plucking eyebrows if you don't have too much hair but if you do then try waxing at the beautician.
I would suggest waxing. It's pretty inexpensive and will last longer than shaving. Make sure you research the place you go to so that you have a good experience
I would wax because if you wax enough it kills the roots of these unwanted hairs. I don't know about the Mom part just tell her that you are self conscous about how you look
wax them. that will take care of it for a month or so. but if you want it removed permanently consider laser hair removal

    http://www.hairremovaljournal.org/
I would pluck or wax the unibrow %26amp; wax or shave the mustache.
    Waxing, plucking.
    wax or laser hair removal
shave it and just ask her!
LOL ';monobrow'; use bleach or tweezers? or go to a place where they wax ya brows
    Wax/Pull out.

But waxing a mustache... ouch....I'd just trim it.
try a razor and some shaving cream ;)
wax it..so it wont grow bk for a while

What do you think the best facial moisturizer is for skin over 40?

My skin is dry to normal, somewhat sensitive to certain ingredients, but not prone to breakouts. Certain things in some lotions and creams make my skin red, leave a burning sensation, or just make it feel irritated. What do you think the best facial moisturizer is for skin over 40?
The best thing is to go natural. Many commercial products contain skin damaging, skin aging harsh chemicals. As do many face cleaners, soaps, moisturizers and cosmetic products. Do web searches to verify. One of the best modest price natural moisturizers is olive oil and it is beneficial to skin in many ways. Do a web search ';Olive oil for moisturizing skin'; to verify. If thoroughly massaged into facial skin it gives it a healthy glow and tightens and rejuvenates it. It clears up blemishes and if persevered with, overtime it rids skin of many, even serious, skin conditions such as acne and acne scars and can give you a flawless skin.

I love Arbonne Night Cream. It is so thick and nice and isn't irritating at all! I have super sensitive skin and use this 24/7.
I will say that Skin Perfect Moisturizer will work best for you. Being a woman of 40 plus, you should always try to use anti-aging products and your selected products should be highly advanced in anti-aging skin care. For more information visit this site

Hello..I am a Certified Massage Therapist and I am thinking the answer to your question is Raindrop Therapy. I perform this on some of my clients myself and it is very relaxing, and is used with many different kinds of natural essential oils. Yes, have it done soon, it is wonderful!

It depends on how healthy you are. If your young and drink lots of water, 3 or 4 days should be all it takes. However, the older you are the longer it will take. Either way, drink lots of water and put some neosporin cream or ointment on it.

Depending on the types of ingredients in the mask, and how sensitive your skin is to those ingredients, thats how you tell how long to leave it on. If your skin IS sensitive, a maximum of 10-15 minutes is best. If your skin isn't, then you can leave the mask on for up to 25 minutes. Usually a good amount of time is 10, but if you really want to fix the ';problem'; with your skin, then a longer time might be a bit better. How long do you leave on facial masks?
it depends on which kind of mask it is... usually the mask has to dry up and then you should wash it off... other wise leave it on for 15 mins and then wash it off
depends on the mask but it usually says on the packaging
Well sweetie there a answer to this:

LOOKING AT THE BACK OF THE MASK BOTTLE!

It's tell you how long you should keep it on and etc! :3
maximum of 20 minutes and minimum 10 mins
Get a mask with instructions, they can vary. But usually 10 min.
it depends on the mask.i would say about 10 minutes to be safe.

What makes people want to get facial/tongue piercings?

I'm not judging anyone! I have a tattoo, but never thought I wanted to go the piercing route. I'm just curious as to what the mentality is behind getting these kinds of piercings. Thanks! What makes people want to get facial/tongue piercings?
I have 28 piercings, with a handful or retired ones. My facial piercings include, both nostrils pierced at 16g, septum at 10g, Monroe at 14g and labret at 14g

I love how piercings look, that a huge part of it. I also love the process of piercing and how the body heals. I will admit, I do love playing with my piercings too(and the girl in me loves cute jewelry from time to time). I love more than just facial piercings and I plan to venture into other styles of piercings sooner or later. But it all stems from a huge fascination with body modification and body art of all sorts. For some people its a fad, for me, its a curious passion.

While I do feel strongly judged by these choices, it doesn't really bug me anymore. Anyone not willing to look closer at who I am isn't a person worthwhile anyway :-DWhat makes people want to get facial/tongue piercings?
i think piercings are really cool

Maybe cause they think its cool. Just cause people think everyone else is doing it and its awsome to them doesnt mean they should do it just for the sake of being cool. do it cause you like it not cause its the fashion. Cause maybe it goes out of fashion. people might make fun of you that you still have it.
BOREDOM or maybe a lapse in judgement after 10 too many tequilla shots, LOL

my hubby has his tongue pierced and he told me he got it b/c the military said he couldnt have it, LOL

He obviously has issues with authority
You really have no right to judge others, as you have a tattoo yourself, and some people view them as ugly. I myself have 3 small girly pretty tattoos that are always getting compliments. I had my tongue pierced for 5 years but took it out for my wedding, my husband took his out as well. I still have my navel pierced and it looks gorgeous. Open your mind sweetie.... God Loves all his children no matter what:)
It's just a fad. People only do it because everyone else is doing it and they think it looks cool.
I have my tongue and belly button pierced. My tongue done when I was 17 and I was going through a rebellious phase, but I ended up keeping it because I do like it. The belly I got done years after and it looks nice. I think it varies for everyone at different stages of their life. That's my opinion only and everyone is entitled to theirs.
I personally think it's almost the same mentality as wanting a tattoo. I have tattoos, a pierced belly button and did have my tongue done, but took it out because it wasn't ';business professional';. I don't know what compelled me to go for piercings over tattoos. They were all sort of spur of the moment deals and I usually just go with my gut instinct. With my tongue, I wanted something else done to my body and seeing as I couldn't decide on a new tattoo, I went with a piercing. The good part is, with piercings, you can just take them out and let them close if you don't like them anymore. =) I hope this helps better your understanding.
I wonder the same thing. Because short of working in a tattoo parlor, there are not a lot of places that will allow you to wear your facial piercings to work.
some people like the attention you get for a face piercing and some people think their beatiful
Well I have had my eyebrow, tongue and labret pierced. I think that facial piercings are beautiful as long as the jewelry is done in good taste. I guess for me I got these done because I love the way they look on people. I don't go out and play with my tongue ring in front of people I find it very rude to do so. I wear retainers to work to keep my piercing from closing up since it is against the dress code to wear them. I have respect for people who dislike them but I expect respect in return. I fell as if people shouldn't judge me or anyone else by our appearance.

EVERYBODY gets that at some point in their life. It's irritating, but no biggie. Trust me....you feel it, but no one sees it. Get a good nights sleep...that will help.
This isn't an unnormal thing. The bad part is once you get it , it never goes away. I know a fifth grader that has the same problem and he's okay with it. Don't be emarassed because it's how you are. If any of your friends tease you about it they're not really friends

What is the best acne solution/ facial cleanser for a 12 year old girl?

Twelve year old girl with some small pimples around T-Zone. I was wondering what the best acne products (Clearasil, ProActive, etc.) and facial cleansers are best for this case.

    Useful answers only.

Thank you! What is the best acne solution/ facial cleanser for a 12 year old girl?
You should try a natural way.

Acne has an affect on everyone. It is not going to zap away it will take some time.

    You Will Need -

    鈥?A gentle facial cleanser

    鈥?Warm water

    鈥?A towel

    鈥?Topical acne medication

    鈥?Sunscreen

    鈥?Patience

    鈥?A tissue

    鈥?Noncomedogenic cosmetics

    鈥?Shaving cream with benzoyl peroxide

    鈥?A dermatologist

    鈥?Prescription acne medicine

    Step 1:

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser with warm water, every morning and night.

Don鈥檛 put pressure on your acne it will make acne red and irritated.

    Step 2:

Gently dab away water on your face, but don鈥檛 take all of the moisture away because it will only make your skin dry. Be careful to wash your face too much because it can irritate your skin. If you have oily skin, get a tissue and wipe the oil away.

    Step 3:

Apply a topical acne medication, from a dermatologist or from any store. You can also get lotion, or gel containing benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid.

Benzoyl peroxide gets bacteria from the skin and salicylic acid helps unclog pores and prevent your skin from peeling. Get one that fits better for your skin.

    Step 4:

Protect your skin with a non-comedogenic sunscreen(sunscreen that doesn鈥檛 clog pores). To avoid your skin from way too much sunlight, that can make your acne worse.

    Step 5:

Use only non-comedogenic, water-based make-up that is oil-free. There are moisturizers and makeup that is made for people who have acne

    Step 6:

Be careful when you shave. Shaving can irritate your skin and shake in only one direnction.

Some shaving creams have benzoyl peroxide, so it can help get rid of your acne.

    Step 7:

NEVER squeeze, pop, or pinch acne. It causes more acne and it can make you get scarring.

    Step 8:

Try avoid things touching your face, like holding a phone against your face, wearing sports equipment, or resting your chin on your hand.

    Step 9:

Keep your hair clean and out of your face. The natural oils in hair can contribute to acne, as can hair products that contain oil.

    Step 10:

If you still have acne while taking care of your skin you might want to go to a dermatologist. There are different types of acne and different treatment.

    Step 11:

Be patient! Fighting acne can be slow, and it鈥檚 not going to zap away in a day. But when you get rid of your acne, you鈥檒l say hello to your new face.

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
12 is a bit young to be using harsh chemicals on the face. The skin is still trying to get a balance. I never used anything more than just water during regular shower and wiping my face before I go to bed until I was much older... Even then I only wash my face once a day and do not have a single zit! If you really feel the need, then just get facial cleansers for sensitive skin. Maybe start with Clean %26amp; Clear and wash no more than once a day. Keep face clean by wiping it with a clean face towel every time you get in from outside.
I used to have horrible acne I can't even tell you how bad it was. I found www.StopMyAcne.Info and bought it it seriously cured my acne.

Like seriouslyits gone . I don't even have one pimple

After using this I can't believe it's only cheap and after you use it you won't either hahaThe trips I took to the dermatologist cost me WAY more than that lol and the CRAP they gave me just made my acne worse~!!!!! uhggg... lol

Oh and it also guarantees it will cure your acne in 3 days or your money back.

    Anyway I hope this helps!

Ive suffered with acne for 5 years now. One easy home remedy is using fresh lemon on your face which helps clear acne and acne scars Please go to: http://www.acne.org/lemon-juice-applied-鈥?/a>

But what truly made the difference was when a friend told me recently that eliminating dairy products from your diet can help get rid of acne. I thought id give it a try since i have nothing to loose considering all the MONEY and time i have spent on acne products and facials in the past.

It took about 3 weeks to see a noticeable difference and 4 weeks later the only remains on my face are a few scars which will heal over time. I stopped eating/drinking milk, cream, ice cream, cheese and basically anything with high milk contents. I still eat some yogurt a few times a week because i still want some calcium intake and yogurt is also very good for your intensinal flora. I will also buy some calcium tablets.

After all these years of medication, expensive facial treatments, laser treatment anything you name it, i have done it, i can finally say im free from acne. I have to say though that i was shocked because of all the research ive done and doctors ive been to, never ever mentioned anything about dairy products and how they may be a major cause of acne. I also did more research about why milk may be a huge factor in acne and it came up with because of the hormones in milk that are produced by a cow when the cow is pregnant. It all makes sense and

finally after all these years i have found the cure for acne.

Forget the products for now stop eating any dairy products and see if there is any difference.

Give it a go you have nothing to loose!

Also if you don't believe me or need a back up source read these 2 websites i found:

Haha. You have zits. Sucks for you.

Clearasil is pretty good. try some organic products, like Lush or something. They are pretty chill.
Go to your local health food store and try either something made by Burt's Bees or just buy organic oatmeal soap. Oatmeal soap is amazing for clearing up skin.
Bentonite clay is the best facial mask I have ever used!

as far as cleanser, Oatmeal soap clears up pimples nicely.

    Good Luck:)
Well, I can't really say which the BEST is, but I can recommend a few brands:

    - NuTeen

    - Clean %26amp; Clear

    - Simple

    - Oxy
You are way better off with whole foods and herbal supplements.

Please check out the info I am sending you on eating better naturally.

    Diet Suggestions:

    1. AVOID: Stay away from flour, potatoes, white rice, sugar, artificial colors/ flavors/ additives/ preservatives. Use organic brown rice and organic wild rices in small portions. Avoid all soy.

    2. Go easy on the oat meals and grains even if they are organic. 1-3 table spoons cooked.

    2. FLOUR: Eat Ezekiel or Genesis bread products but they due contain wheat gluten. Read the labels. They have cereal, loaf bread, english muffins, tortillas, pasta's, burger/hot dog buns.

    3. PROTEINS: Eat a variety of organic grass fed, pasture raised meats, poultry and raw dairy including eggs. If it is organic or wild and the animal is eating what that particular animal eats in the wild then it is good. You may have to do an internet search to find this stuff in your area especially the raw milk stuff. Use a variety of organic raw milks, butter and cheeses like goat, sheep, water buffalo, cow. If you can't find the pasture raised stuff at least get the organic and if even that is tough to find go with the ';all natural, no hormone/ no antibiotic meats';. Avoid fish due to the toxic levels of contaminants, check the supplement sheet for fish oils.

    4. FRUITS AND VEGGIES : Eat plenty of organic, raw vegetables and fruits. Spend more time with the berries and melons and use the pineapples, mangoes, bananas, oranges and dried sparingly. The fruits in the Zamu drink are ok because of where they are grown.

Check out the organic sustainably wild harvested acai (flash frozen, non pasteurized, www.amazonmania..com or www.amazonroots.com), organic sustainably wild harvested dried goji berries, incan-mulberries.

    5. BEVERAGES: Drink organic shade grown coffee if you drink coffee but if that is difficult to find make it at least organic. Drink organic tea's. Check out our tea's (www.mdjo.amazonherb.net) or Guayaki. Avoid all soda pop. Make your own soda pop with seltzer, natural organic flavorings and stevia, raw organic agave syrup, organic maple syrup or honey. Nutritionally speaking the organic wild harvested stevia is best but many don't like the taste. Some companies make decent organic soda pop but always read the labels and should only be used as an occassional treat.. Make your own!

    - Every one should be drinking at least a half to a whole bottle of Synergy/ GT Daves Kombucha Tea (fermented green tea drink) per day . This drink is good for so many things that I do not have the time or space to list them all here, Read the Label.

    6. Fermented Foods: Eat organic fermented kim chi, Sauer crout, beets, etc.

    7. Go real easy on the beans but if you do eat them go organic of course and fresh from your organic garden or home sprouted is best. Home sprouting kits and instructions are available at health food stores and the internet.

    8. Nuts and seeds should be raw and organic and best if sprouted (check the internet for sprouting instructions). Check www.sunfoodnutrition.com for sustainably wild harvested nuts from the Amazon Rainforest.

    Praying for your good health.
