Has anyone tried a facial hair remover, and does the hair grow back stiff?

I am afraid to try it for fine facial hair, worrying it will grow back like a man's whiskers.Has anyone tried a facial hair remover, and does the hair grow back stiff?
I've tried duct tape and my facial hair grew back like a man's whiskers.

normally some people has allergy when they use a certain cream , that we called hair removal. but it also sometimes the caused of staying for more than it suppose to be. yes, normally if u havent pluck your hair. and u start using hair removal. it will grow backbut not thick. it will grow like the same it was growing before.
I use a threader called eze-tweeze for my facial hair and the hair does not grow back thicker. In fact it grows back thinner because it pulls it from the root. Creams are not so good, because if you wash it off too soon, it would not have removed all the hair, and if you leave it on longer it burns your face, like it did mine when I used them. mine never grew back stiff, actually i think after i used nair`s facial hair remover, it grew back finer.

if you have facial hair get rid of it and keep it gone......It wont grow back thicker...what happens is it apears thicker because the ends of the hair are no longer worn they are normal or whatever.....men do not like facial hair on women it is disgusting....
