Does shaving frequently really cause facial hair to grow faster and thicker?

I'm 17

My facial hair started growing a while ago but it does not grow thick and it grows in patches.

I want that stubble look but not in patches

Will shaving more help the hair grow thicker?Does shaving frequently really cause facial hair to grow faster and thicker?
Of course not. Shaving cuts off dead hair tissue, it grows from the bottom. Shaving doesn't do anything magical to your hair, any more than just rubbing or massaging your hand across the beard area. Many men have patchy beards, so they just can't have the ';stubble'; look. It may grow in eventually, but if you have to shave some whiskers daily and there are bare patches, most likely they will stay bare.Does shaving frequently really cause facial hair to grow faster and thicker?
no its a VERY common myth. its all on the genes. but go ahead and try it everyone is different.
no. that is NOT true!
no it won't, just wait and keep your face clean shaven until you think you can get the look you want
